Adam is with a major record label who is investing millions of dollars of their own money in Adam's success. Adam can have a say in things, but he will NEVER be allowed to make all the decisions! Even Lady Gaga doesn't make all her decisions. During the era of her first album(s), which sold twenty bazillion copies and fifty bazillion single downloads, Gaga had to fund her own single and video when she wanted a different one from the label. (Alejandro) That choice also was the poorest performing single from The Fame/Monster marked the end of her singles released from that album. Right now, the label has worldwide album sales to think about. Adam doesn't get to pick his next single, no more than any other artist signed to a major label deal, gets to pick their own single. I guess Adam could cough up a million of his personal money to fund a single HE believes in, but he will only be allowed to do this near the end of the album cycle. That, or he could sign with an Indie label next era and he might have more control that way. At this point, I think Adam wants the hits and the awards shows and recognition too much to go for some Indie career where he sells 100K and sings in small venues or has a career of opening for others. Artists, who are signed to major labels, don't get to make major decisions. They have limited input, but at the end of the day- its the record labels money and they make the decisions! It's this way for everyone! ... and that's how we got BTIKM.... Exactly! I am so with you. |

Never heard "get a load of me" correlated to "jizz." Never heard it as any sexual content at all! Never heard in in relation to "jizz" but in relation to "sperm"... :  wait till ya get your stomach's full of me... yummy! |

Don't know how to put those ROFL smilies but this deserves them!!! ;D I really don't think "get a load of" is at all sexual ORIGINALLY but this site has officially made it so. I have a question! : Unfortunately I can watch the youtube of the finnish "LIV Interview" with Adam from Saturday only with the help of gelly's "Hide my ass"-link because the video is blocked for us in Germany, but I can't download it this way! :-[ My question: Do we have another link where I can download the video? ??? |

Ok SInce it's a tad slow today. I just to say that everytime I hear NCOE...when he sings low "eye" up to the high "eye"...
It reminds me of the old TV show theme song. I think the show was in the 60-70's - RAWHIDE. WHen he sings low note "raw" hgh and ends with the high "Hide"
ANyone else hear this? OK silly me so everytime I hear him sing those two notes, I see a rider on a horse 8-)

I do love Sauli's hair but I know what you mean. And, yes, I am hankerin for some hand-holding pics. Only think better than some pics of Adam are some pics of Adam glowing down on Sauli. Question for the English as a second language fans: As I was listening to Cuckoo yesterday I was noticing how many expressions Adams uses in his songs: crazy train, on the loose, get down, get a load of me, and on and on. It must be very difficult, even for those who speak basic English, to fully understand some of his songs. Do you feel like we do when reading translations of Sauli (wishing we could understand the nuances of his language choices)? Is this of any consideration when trying to sell a song internationally? *And of course, I must include my apologize for being an ignorant Amercian who, without means to practice, has lost all her foreign language skills learned in school. So impressed with our international members--keep posting regardless of fear of mistakes! I'm a little late, but it take so loooong to write the answer. Yes, to me, the lyrics are sometimes impossible to understand, helps a lot when I see the words written on. Google gives often the translations, that are just insane, and then I must use a dictionary, and yet I do not understand what the words / phrases mean  . If I do not understand the words, of the most important is the feeling that I feel when I hear the song. For example Trespassing is catchy, so that it is not necessary to understand the words. Cuckoo: we discussed the word "cuckoo" in the past, I still can not understand why in the middle of a song -cuckoo bird sings. (Ok -I know now that it means something like "crazy".) But I'm in heaven when I see and hear Adam singing, it does not matter whether or not I understand the words. :D |
