OnTopic - Would LOVE him to do Graham Norton! OffTopic- I'm wondering if Adam's incredible voice is a liability instead of an asset for Pop radio. I've been listening a lot recently and realized that hardly any male singers have even a decent singing voice. Most sound weak & strained. That seems to be what listeners like at the moment. Look - I've learned to like a lot of pop music. Lots of catchy stuff there, but it really hit home to me today that there are so few good singers - especially male. A beat & a hook is what it takes. So I'm hoping with single #2 a beat and a hook AND a beautiful voice will do the trick.

You know, now that I think about it, much to my MIL's chagrin, I don't really trust anyone with my babies. Guess that might have something to do with my problem with RCA handling Adam's. I don't think get a load of me is sexual. But then again, Adam could sing a lullaby and make it drool-worthy...hmmm... Never heard "get a load of me" correlated to "jizz." Never heard it as any sexual content at all! Maybe Adam has heard  . If he had said to Sauli "Wait till ya get a load of me", Sauli might have understood it the same way as I did. And the context: : No Trespassing? Yeah, my ass! Wait till ya get a load of me!
A word by word translation into Finnish makes it sound very sexual. Maybe Adam is singing in Finglish ;D For my Finnish friends: I understood it as:" Ei tunkeutumista? Jee, pers..ni! Odota, kunnes saat multa latingit". ;D |

The G-rated version, which my mom used all the time, was "my foot." Some people say, "My Aunt Fanny." ;D Interestingly enough, at least to me, I read that during World War II, US troops were discouraged from using the then-common expression "fanny" in England because it has a different meaning, e.g. "pussy." So there "ass" was actually the more polite term and returning troops brought the usage home. |

After this radio promo tour, I honestly am stumped for new questions to ask Adam! I'm going to think of a couple if it kills me--because I doubt this guy has watched the promo interviews and it'd be nice to think of something new! Any suggestions for not-too-deep red carpet questions? And lol/gritting teeth combo for the rollercoaster! I'll bet there's a Queen performance coming in June... I sure hope it's doable for those who had Knebworth tickets! HURRY SHOSHANNA! Spill ALL the beans! Graham Norton would fulfill a long-held wish of mine, and I've tweeted--and will again! |
