SusieFierce just posted this on twitter - it's a screen cap of a blog post by Toby Knapp about Pop music programmers being polled about possible second single from Tresspassing. I am posting the screencap (thank you Susie!) 'cause I really don't want to link to the dude's blog. He is the definition of a douche and shit-stirrer. lockerz.com/s/198703866In other words, dude knows NOTHING (not more than we do, at least), but he's trying to get hits. All right then.

Re banshee: I have no idea. Is not a word used often. While it does mean ghost, I'm not thinking he is using that term literally. Could it be dancing girls and wailing boys? Idk Again I have no idea what pop that lock means, but.... It sounds nasty You mean your mom never told you and your girlfriends to "quit screaming like a bunch of banshees?" Hmmmm, maybe I was just a rowdy child. I always pictured a banshee as one of those ghosts who swoop around screeching, you know, like in CASPER. It's just one of those words that have always been there. If that is the case, I am joining you in the rowdy crowd as I got that all the time, as a child!! haha

At the end of yesterday's thread luzrnaz said she could not find the Adam Talking thread. So, here is the link. adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=talkaboutadam&action=display&thread=754It is in the Salon, under People Talking About Adam. I started it because I am so tickled when Adam uses the perfect words for a concept, but the words are not in a normal American vocabulary. Like "banshee", "bourgeois" or "symbiotic." Gelly pointed out that many of my favorite Adam words are derived from Greek. Didn't know that! Thanks for the info. So, the three I just quoted are Irish, French, and Greek. Cool. While waiting for the red carpet and news of what Adam is singing tonight, pop on over and peruse, then add your own favorite examples of Adam talking.

I know nothing about radio (I hardly ever listen to the radio), but from my little experience listening to songs while waiting for any of the shows where Adam has been live, I can say that Adam is overqualified as a pop singer and that´s why he is not embraced by pop radios. Love this.

Wow, I have never so intensely disliked someone I don't even know as much as this PA douche bag, lol. Trying to piggyback KA onto his post like he is remotely at the same level as Adam. Does he not realize how transparently he is desperately trying to promote his own special cupcake, which BTW, his own station is not even spinning either? Sorry, don't post much but this guy gets me fired up, lol.

I am surpised that Adam doesn't have a writing credit on Underneath. The way he talked about it, it sounded like a very personal song for him.

But that scolding was in every mom's arsenal.
