The Two Sides Of Adam Lambertwww.theinsider.com/music/51196_Adam_Lambert_Trespassing_Tour_New_Details/index.htmlApril 05, 2012 twitter I've got good news and I've got better news, Glam Nation -- after a few frustrating, but understandable, delays, Adam Lambert's sophomore album is locked and ready for release on May 15! That's the good news. The better news is this firm drop date means Adam can finally embark on phase two of a new album release: promotion! And his first stop is Logo's New Now Next Awards -- taping tonight and airing Monday at 9 p.m.! Before Adam hits the red carpet (which you can watch online at 8:30 EST/5:30 PST), we caught up with him for an exclusive chat all about his performance, his promotional plans and how he's feeling now that Trespassing is ready for delivery!Insider.com: So excited about your performance, Adam. What can you tease? Adam Lambert: I don't want to tease too much, but I can tell you I'll be performing Trespassing – the title track from the album. It's a song I wrote with Pharell Williams. It's super funky and it's got a good, good groove. It's a throwback in kind of a new way. On another topic, way late too respond, but in answer to your question from earlier, rabbitrabbit: I guess the reason I care about single choice even though I don't care THAT much about radio play--the reason the single question is still relevant to the personal preference question--is because I care about which songs Adam is most identified by by the general public. I want non-fans to see something of the same stuff in him that I do. And right now (setting aside the obviously awesome Idol times), based just on his singles, they don't get to see all the incredible charm we get to see. Their picture of Adam is very different from my picture of Adam. I'll be very happy with NCOE as a single if that's what's chosen--I like the song--but what I'll mourn just a little is that NCOE doesn't exploit Adam's wicked sense of humor the way that Trespassing and particularly Cuckoo do. None of Adam's singles so far have. And if Cuckoo is the next single then THAT's what I'll celebrate--the idea of Adam being his wonderful wicked witty self on TV. NCOE will showcase his spectacular vocals, and that is an eternal thrill. But peeps already know he has pipes. I want non-fans to know about his cheekier charms, too. Does that makes sense? Still, not bitching and moaning, and def not wailing like a banshee, at least not yet! Bring it on Adam--I'll cheer whatever you have to offer! I hear you, I was nodding reading your post yesterday as this is in the back of my mind too. I guess it's figuring out the line between having an artistic identity to casual listeners that maybe doesn't show his full quirky creativity, and humorous spark right away, and not being heard at all? If the perfect artistic identity single doesn't get airplay does that help? If a tree falls in the forest but no one hears....etc. Luckily there is a lot of gray area and unknowns in the middle, hopefully not everything necessarily has to be resolved in the next single choice (I'm crossing my fingers for a third one), and we aren't the ones who have to make the choice, canvas the PDs and draw the line, because I sure would have a hard time. Eeeeee! the songs on the tracklist! and all of the ones we'd heard about and were hoping for got included! So curious about the others!!!!!! gimmmmeeee I so agree, especially with the part I have bolded.

From FYE, maybe a clue to the writers of "Take Back"
deepinsideofewe:
Possible writers for Take Back = Andrew Fromm, Kevin Kadish, and BC Jean? Hmm. This is from Warner Chappell. It says they have a "Demo" but it doesn't say who the artist is.
Also wondering where the information about the Robert Marvin et al connection to 'Pop That Lock' came from?

Could Adam have backup dancers and Carmit choreograph? Because She also is a dancer. Just putting that out there.

OTT This is probably a bad time to post this because everyone is so excited today about new Adam stuff, but I’ve been thinking for a while that I’d like to host a small weekend get-together for those of us in the vast wasteland of mid-America (ok, I’ll admit I’m jealous of the stans who gathered at mayumi’s and I want to have some fun, too!). So I’ve kinda randomly picked the weekend of June 22-24 to have a party, and I’m just assuming any people interested will be within driving distance of East central Illinois (although you would be welcome no matter where you call home).
My house isn’t large so we may have to squeeze a little and haul out the sleeping bags if very many are interested, but my desire to meet fellow Adam stans IS huge. I’ll take further discussion of this to the members thread for privacy’s sake, but I’m hoping some of you will be interested enough to check further. FYI, I’m about 3 ½ hrs from the edge of St. Louis, 2 hrs from Indy, and 2 hrs. from Chicago & I’m in a college town!

glittergma, Live Stream tonight!!!!!! They're streaming the performances too? What time? No, I'm pretty sure they are only streaming the red carpet today, and maybe some of the interviews. Think the performances will not be available until Monday.
