Was in my Accountant's office during the entire thing! But you guys are phenomenal! All the links right here!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!Definitely NOT the vocals from FYE. Only concern is the length for radio. But surely Adam and Billboard are both savvy enough to do the best thing for airplay. |

WHY DO PEOPLE MAKE ME GO TO MEETINGS WHEN THERE ARE IMPORTANT ADAM THINGS GOING ON? I DEMAND TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN CHARGE! I'm sorry I couldn't do real time flailing with everyone, but just need to say that I love every single thing about this. His vocals are sublime and his heart is full. What else could we ask for? Although, I guess I can think of a couple of things to ask for. Maybe a picture with less than 27 layers?  |

The track doesn't have new vocals. Adam said that they took the original track and had Billboard remix it (quote: "the vocals are still there, just up front"). Also, I doubt Adam and RCA would have wanted to spend more money on re-recording vocals for a track from FYE at this point. I just hope there is an Aftermath radio edit. Based on what Q3 has said in the past, I can't see how a track that is over 5 minutes long is going to get radio play in the U.S. (Hope I'm wrong!)  I politely beg to differ. The melody lines in several places are significantly different, as is some of the delivery. Not something one can do with a remix machine. Now, he may have recorded that track as an alternate during FYE rather than recording it recently, but it is definitely NOT the same track as FYE. Thanks, Cassie! I thought while it was playing that there were definitely different notes in parts and it must be a different recording, but I've been watching for you (the musical expert I count on) to confirm what I thought I'd heard! Absolutely love how they managed to keep his voice front and centre on the song!! Hope the new album manages to do that too! |
