I've got good news and I've got better news, Glam Nation -- after a few frustrating, but understandable, delays, Adam Lambert's sophomore album is locked and ready for release on May 15! That's the good news.
The better news is this firm drop date means Adam can finally embark on phase two of a new album release: promotion! And his first stop is Logo's New Now Next Awards -- taping tonight and airing Monday at 9 p.m.! Before Adam hits the red carpet (which you can watch online at 8:30 EST/5:30 PST), we caught up with him for an exclusive chat all about his performance, his promotional plans and how he's feeling now that Trespassing is ready for delivery!
Insider.com: So excited about your performance, Adam. What can you tease?
Adam Lambert: I don't want to tease too much, but I can tell you I'll be performing Trespassing – the title track from the album.[/b] It's a song I wrote with Pharell Williams. It's super funky and it's got a good, good groove. It's a throwback in kind of a new way.
Insider: Is that the next single?
Adam: I don't know what the next single is yet. It hasn't been decided. Because it's not decided and I'm so in love with this song, I wanted to perform it for the fans. It's a great introduction to the album and we wanted to take the opportunity to do that.

Adam Lambert made his much anticipated appearance at the NewNowNext Awards tonight, and while you won’t be able to see his performance until this Monday when the awards air on Logo, he did spend some time on the red carpet talking about his new album and meeting the legendary Elton John.
• Adam on meeting Elton John: “It was really great. He is so down to earth and he has such a dirty sense of humor.”
• Adam on naming his new album Trespassing: “It was the only album title. That was the one that summed up the vibe of the album.”

Also Michael Greif, he is the producer of Rent, I am working with his daughter doing some dresses for her. There are definitely celebrities here and there.
JN: You are channeling Adam Lambert with that studded jacket you are wearing.
VL: This is so Adam Lambert isn't it? I actually did this for an event with Out Magazine. I had to make something fabulous in about two days. When I met Adam I had this on. That is when we started contacting each other.

Adam Lambert confirms new album 'Trespassing' tracklist
Adam Lambert has revealed the tracklisting for his upcoming album.
The singer will release Trespassing as his second studio LP in the US on May 15 and the UK on July 2.
The deluxe edition contains 15 new songs including recent single 'Better Than I Know Myself'. Other song titles include 'Cuckoo', 'Naked Love' and 'Chokehold'.
Lambert has previously described his new album as being "angsty and darker" than his first set.
The star has worked with Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars, Dr Luke and Nile Rodgers on Trespassing.
