Adam was so FIERCE in his Trespassing performance! I love him in this mode. Reminds me of his EMA performance which was raved about by people outside of his fandom.

SusieFierce, our own grammar police at our service. Thank you.  Your rule is easy to remember. I was a proofreader on a newspaper during university years. I've always been interested in grammar things in different languages too. But when I write here, I just write. I don't think/worry about grammar so much. I trust that everyone here wants to understand the meaning behind the words.

The rule for knowing when to say I or me, is: take the other person out of the sentence!!Robert Marvin is thanking Skylar for helping him and Charles on the track. If we take Charles out of the situation, Robert is saying, "Thank you for helping I on the track." Well, we know that's wrong. He would say, "Thank you for helping me on the track." It's the same regardless if there are two or a hundred more people mentioned in the sentence. So anytime you're uncertain how to phrase something when referring to yourself and others, take the other people out of the sentence and you have your answer  /grammar police Ha! I bet a LOT of us were taught that rule but either forgot it or remain confused. It's one you have to think ahead about when speaking. The one that gets me lately, with all the internet reading about music that I do now, is so many people saying "He sung that song well." So many people have dropped "sang" from usage. I blame the old movie "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" for changing our past tenses of irregular verbs. I wondered a lot about the usage of sung. |

Doesn't look like BTIKM is on the VH! countdown.. I just can't watch anymore..Looks like some new songs.. Madonna" Girls gone wild"
Talk about the press getting it wrong about Adam the other night at the NNN awards. One says Trespassing Adam's new single . The other says He sang Better Than I Know Myself . Why don't they check their facts. Geez

I trust that everyone here wants to understand the meaning behind the words. That's the rule I was taught (I'm in the UK); but then I'm ancient. My daughter is an editor and always had my interest in words but she had to go to university and do linguistics before she was taught the rules of grammar. I couldn't believe it didn't happen at her Grammar School as part of the curriculum. One other of my real hates, that I've had to accept, because as she tells me, language is always changing, is to do with participles again. How many times do you hear "She was sat on the wall" or "was stood in a corner" and don't get me started on apostrophes : . btw, am I ok to snaffle this new pic? Ain't he bootiful . |

I had Sam Sparro tickets and at the last minute decided not to go.  Was so tired from NNN and the thought of driving into LA on a Friday of a holiday weekend. |

Hi, I just wanna give all you guys a BIG THANKS for sharing yours experiences, pics, vids, etc with all us who live so far far away, I love Adam every day more and i love all of you everytime more. Here 5 min ago, the dj of our top40 radio say Trespassing is released 15/5 and Adam is already a consolidated artist, happy to hear this!! - anywat BTIKM fell to #32 after 5 weeks peacked #7, i expected a little more for that song :( - Besos a todos  and THANKS AGAIN. And SusieFierce your grammar police can arrested me if he want ( i deserved it) |
