oh, oh, oh! I remembered what I wanted to say two posts ago! I wanted to remind everyone that the song "Trespassing" has been my favorite since I first heard the spliced-together version from somewhere (I can't remember where) because it's his anthem! If I WERE of sound mind, I would search for my post and re-post it. Crap, I'm gun-shy now about my grammar and punctuation. I think I might be good at it (grammar and punctuation) if I WERE sober, but hell's bells, I don't post when I'm sober. Anyhoo, (yes, damn it I know that's not a word) I wish I could remember what I said before because it summed up my feelings about the song. I honestly, genuinely, heartfeltedly (crap, squiggly lines under that last word but what the hey, it makes my point!) believe that this song will be his signature song. First on my bucket list now is to see him perform this song live, no matter how far I have to travel or how much I have to spend. hahaha!! so funny! heartfeltedly LOL. (plus I can relate - I usually don't post when I'm sober either, too scary!)

Now that this "it's and its" dilemma is kind of clear ;D I would like to ask this... When you speak for example about Adam and his hair, why do you write Adam's hair, not Adams hair? Compared to it's/its, doesn't "Adam's hair" mean "Adam is hair"! Does it have something to do with Adam being a name?! There must be something I'm missing here... ??? Btw, thanks for these grammar lessions! Because it's is the exception not the rule. Most of the time possession is shown with 's and plural is shown with just adding the s to the word. There is no plural of it because it is a pronoun like his or her. Hers is possessive by only adding s but no apostrophe. The rule for it is the same for her. Contraction rules make "it is" into "it's" just as "they are" becomes "they're". BTW also words that end in "s" are made possessive by just adding the apostrophe to the end without the extra "s" as in names like James which becomes James'. There is an exception to that rule also...take for instance Charles. It ends in "S" but to make it possessive, it should be written Charles's cookies rather than Charles' cookies. Charles' cookies could mean more than one Charles or a family of Charles'. It's really complicated sometimes. For example, chair. The chair's leg is broken. (one chair as in one Charles) Alternatively, many of the chairs' legs are broken. Meaning more than one chair. LOL. English must be very hard for some--for us English-speaking too ("too" as in also).

I am a big fan of the emergence of nu spelling. I C U. I hope 2 C U 2nite. I do not no Y we need all those extra letters. I m happy w/o all of them. JMHO but.I.can't.spell.and.consider.standard.spelling.an.evil.plot.by.people.w/.the.ability.to.spell.w/.ease. I can spell, but I prefer the nu spelling 2. Saves time esp when texting. I need more free time.

I love "heartfeltedly" too, and burrito, I was glad you found your post about Trespassing because I loved this line at the time and again tonight: "it's so what I want to shout at my universe" ... Me, too, and as the man says, "Let's go!"

Scary grammar talk! Grammar was the biggest monster of my school times. I just couldn't understand it, all those grammar things and words and endings and stuff (anyone wanna explain Finnish grammar... :D). I mean, I'm fluent in Finnish but definitely moron in Grammar, but I think I'm still doing okay with the language LOL. I just go by instinct when writing/talking English... been doing that quite happily all these years starting from high school finals zillion years ago and now you made me think all that I am/might be doing wrong here.... . Is it okay if I just don't care?

"Too" can also mean "very". I love you too much. There were too many candies in that dish.
