I am NOT an Adam's music purist, therefore, this (even though we already knew it) testament to him and his "crew" warms the cockles of my heart. To me, it's the whole package that inspires my dedication... and don't you DARE, ha! He's so nice to other people, very consciously so, without being naive or condescending. He deliberately chooses to treat people with utmost care and respect, especially those dear to his heart, but I have a feeling if you cross the line with him, if you turn out to be a jerk, he's merciless. Which one of these did you have in mind? : I dared, lol

They're friends, why wouldn't he wear it? ) As I recall, the same necklace was worn by Sauli as well. They sure love it! Talking about necklaces, I loved the one worn by Adam @ NNN. Is it a new one? Does anyone know the designer? I loooove it too! Not new, he wore it at the last scene of BTIKM video, you can see it on my avi. When the music video came out I made a little search , not too much , to find out more about this necklace, didn't come up with anything, but I love it! When I have more time I have to find out more about it lol! I can't believe I failed to see it on your avi. Lol, Gelly, if you don't know where it's from, Adam probably doesn't either

I could go on and on, but since the only reference I can connect to Adam is that out of many pronunciations of Moscow correctly, he did say MosCOW only once. Again, there is no COW in Moscow. MosCOW is the only way to pronounce Moscow that I'm familiar with. How do YOU pronounce it?

In honor of official grammar day -- my related "pet peeve" is the words people use that do not really exist.
My most hated non-word is Irregardless. URGH. It is used when people mean regardless but literally means not regardless which is a double-negative and nonsense. Even news reporters use it.
On the good side, "impact", "impacts" and "impacted" -- the verbs -- are now words. They may be used as jargon but really mean something.
ETA: I think that Moscow in America is usually MosCOW, properly something more like mahs-KAH. Softer ending -- but I don't do phonetic letters very well.

Since we are on the subject. Can someone please give an easy explanation of when to use Which and when to use That? As in: I went to the concert that I had tix too or I went to the concert which I had tix too...
I'm an English speaker....just a confused one!
Thanks !

HAPPY BIRTHDAY shutterbug1617, cassiopeia27 AND mystic!!All the Adam photos today....oh my! Grammar....I concur with everything Susie posted. I majored in English and still pause and/or use "I" or "me" incorrectly. (embarrassing). I know I was never taught the rule in elementary school.... ...as for apostrophes and contractions, I think most of us KNOW the correct usage but are simply typing too quickly. Forums/twitter/instant messaging are casual and conversational....sometimes I reread my posts and think "Good Lord girl, where did YOU go to school!?" Haha! I second the happy birthdays!!! And yep, me too, durberville. I have a tendency to reverse homonyms all the time!!! I of course know the difference between there, their and they're and your and you're, but I'm amazed at how many times I go back and think, "How the hell did I type that???" Also, knowing it's a matter of "hearing" the word in my head, I transpose "our" and "are" quite often too. ??? And yes, lose and loose drive me nuts because they don't even sound alike, but I see them mixed up almost every day. murly, I get a kick out of "creative" use of apostrophes too. We used to have a restaurant in town with a big sign: Lalo's Taco's – it became a kind of landmark – everyone knew about this little hole in the wall because of the sign. When they finally corrected it, I think they lost some of their notoriety. There is a funny book about this called, "Eats, Shoots and Leaves." So, bottom line, anyone feeling self-conscious about their English ... we're all a hot mess half the time too. ;D ;D Cute, Adam has copper nail polish on. I'm thinking we can get creative with this yellow (or gold) and black thing ...
