This is the most erudite group I have ever read. Whew!!! Where is Burrito? We need some levity. LOL! Thank God you didn't say you needed a grammar lesson. grammar, smammar, I know it, I massacre it, I don't give a fuck. Makes me want the fucking conversation from a few days ago, although I don't fucking say fuck ever, but I can diagram a sentence with the best of 'em.

Urban dictionary was mentioned awhile back re the words...North Pole. Amongst the many, many definitions listed was Slang term for an erection; slang for boner. Right on Adam! So true! LOL. I am SO far behind, but just had to say thanks, Stampsgal, I hadn't even THOUGHT to look up the word "cold" in the urban dictionary. But oh, yeah, Adam can show us "what is cold" for sure! And the proof is that awesome collage of "cold" someone posted earlier! Loving the grammar instructions today, but only on p16 and expect y'all to have everything covered by the time I catch up! Did anyone notice that the choreographer's bio that was tweeted today--haven't seen it in thread yet, but bet it turns up in next 10 pages!--said she's "dawning" hats instead of "donning" hats? HOMONYMS ARE HELL! ;D a)There hell! b)Their hell! c)They're hell! d)Who the hell cares! ETA: Someone asked if it's correct to begin a sentence with the word "and." Technically, no, as that would make it a fragment, not a stentence; but I do it all the time! And I DON'T CARE! ;D

Burrito must be at Taco Bell........I'm a Guppy Level compared to the rest ;D will I suffice? crap, that tickled my funny bone. I've been watching an endless amount of youtube videos of spiders, tarantulas, pirrhanas (sp?) etc., eating pinky mice so your guppy reference took me there. Don't ask. I have an unbelievable life at Taco Bell.

I just wanted to reiterate that language is an ever-evolving art, and now that international communication, the Internet and so many other factors have come into play, it morphs in the blink of an eye. No one should ever feel self-conscious about asking and I feel bad that people feel bad about not knowing.
No one knows everything.
I am an editor and I work with a copyediting genius, but for all his knowledge, we still have to discuss and debate usage all the time. It is not uncommon for a group of us to have weekly, sometimes daily, confabs where we all get together and debate a term. Usually, it's a judgment call and we come to a consensus. Bottom line: language is a fluid thing and we all make mistakes.
In my office, we try to adhere to AP, but it's sooooo ridiculously out of date half the time. It only went from e-mail to email about eight months ago. Before then, I cringed every time I had to add the hyphen. Really? e-mail?? Also, Web is still a proper noun as is Internet.
That may change before long, but in the meantime, we have to go with the "proper form" however outdated it is. And "outdated" means 10 months old. LOOL. Again, bottom line: Don't feel self-conscious. There are no absolutes and discussing it makes everyone clearer on the situation.

From lynnsblueeyedsoul: twitpic.com/96zog0/fullAdam Lambert wowed the crowd at the New Now Next Awards on April 5, 2012 with a plugged in version of the title track from his soon to be released 2nd album, Trespassing (due for release May 15, 2012)! Introduced for the first time during his performance were two new back-up divas, Octavia Latrice & Keisha Renee’. Also seen for the first time was his new Musical Director, Brian London on keyboard. You can see the performance Monday, April 9, 2012 on LogoTV at 10/9c. ***** For this edit I used two of my favorite photographs of Adam stylin on the Red Carpet and an image of the full band during the performance. Click image for the full 1600x900 size on Twitpic - Credit for all images goes to adam-pictures.com Thank You So Much!

I have a question guys. I was just on Amazon and Adam's TP album is listed at $13.98 for the regular album and $12.99 for the deluxe album. What does this mean? Why is the deluxe cheaper? With Amazon, I believe that the more CDs that are sold, the cheaper the price. I noticed this happened last time, too, and as the record moved up the Best Seller's list, the price decreased. The deluxe is cheaper because more people bought it than the regular album. He is currently #99 on the Best Seller's List. The regular album is #5,984 in Music. Thank you!!
