Did Claude Kelly or Dr. Luke take NCOE and do some work on it? I thought I remember hearing one of them worked on it after Adam finished recording it.
Don't think NCOE was the one the music people in the UK were wanting. I thought they liked Trespassing and Cuckoo. Do you think they might get a different song? I might be totally wrong about this. I wonder which song will do best for the global release and not just in the USA.
Well, I will support whatever song RCA decides to release but I have wanted Trespassing from the first time I heard it. I feel like it's really Adam and where he wants to go with HIS music sound.

Will wait for confirmation from Adam about this, but if true - I feel like a person who anticipated great sex but the climax never came:-( OK, don't get me wrong... I will support any song that is the next single and I do like the song NCOE, But I wanted Trespassing or Cuckoo to be the next single. Yes, it is about Adam and not me, just sharing my personal feelings here among friends. To end on a happy note, YEAH to the new Queenbert rumors:-) and seeing Trespassing on my TV tonight... I love this analogy. It's hard to remember while in the moment but it is the quality of the foreplay that leads to the best climaxes. Maybe NCOE is foreplay. Or hopefully just the beginning of multiple orgasms. Can you tell I am trying to cheer myself up? I need to hear this song before I worry myself to death. |

I think NCOE came up AFTER the UK PDs heard the songs... *I think*. I'll support the single, but no matter what anyone writes, this song still would have been 4th choice for me. Sorry, I just don't like it. No angsting... and I'm not lighting torches.  |

Lifetraveler: I agree with everything you say. Although it doesn't take away personal views shared here, both pro and con, because where else are we going to share them. I appreciate how people here help others to move forward with logic and understanding. One of the many things I love about this place...

We found out later Adam did play NCOE for several of the UK peeps, but they were asked not to talk about that one, probably because it was an early mix and they knew they were gonna bring Dr Luke in to ramp up the production. PopJustice was the only one that ignored the instructions, and they were very positive. Later after the word officially came out, EQ also said they had heard it and loved it. So you can't take the lack of reaction from all the different UK peeps as proof of anything since they were asked to keep it under wraps. |

But many others in UK did like Cuckoo and Trespassing. I look at this as a real #gaypopstarproblem (isn't that what Adam tweeted about something else not long ago?) In other words, having so MANY good songs that a decision is tough--well, not a bad problem to have!  |
