"Love, Actually" gifs? Oh, Seoulmate, didn't think I could love you more...now this. If in fact NCOE is the next single, color me one confused stan. Why, oh why, would they not have sung that instead at the NNN awards?????? I have reluctantly concluded that there was some logic behind releasing BTIKM as WWFM 2.0 to keep his name out there (and to counteract the Album That Shall Not be Named) while the Queen stuff (and the Bruno thing) was brewing but unannounceable, but this? Baffled. On a completely personal, selfish level, I DNW the next single to be Adam Does Bruno Mars. I have pretty much had it with them trying to come up with new ways to make the scary gay guy not so scary. But if that's what they truly believe is Adam's ticket to the top 10, then whatever the fuck. Pretty tired of the tease, I'll admit it. Does it show? THERE IS NO LOGIC TO ANYTHING ANYMORE!!! OMG, LMAO at that GIF!!!!!

Rose @rosieoj Reply Retweeted Favorite · Open ok just heard snippet of NCOE on Sirius as promo for OutQ before commercial break. but it sounded more like bruno version to me. Hate to keep putting down Larry (no I don't ;D ) but I wouldn't put this past him. I've always seen him as someone with his own agenda. If it is the Bruno version, that pisses me off more than having him jump the gun on the official announcement from Adam and RCA! hhmm.. wouldn't it be funny though that fans already stress out over something like this .. LOL.. maybe it would make us learn to wait until we hear from Adam or RCA before we start stressing ourselve out.

Keep trying to make this make sense. So, in essence, if a non-fan happens to catch one of the two airings of the NNN awards tonight, loves the performance, hell even LIKES the performance and therefore goes to iTunes to buy the song...nope, sorry. Nothing to see here.
Oh, and even the album of the same name won't be out for a month.
It's Marketing 101, you don't advertise what you're not selling. Sorry, but RCA needs to stop having meetings and make a decision.
Gawd. Reminds me of why I left corporate life.

Today is ... for some of us. When Lyndsey Parker asked Adam about NCOE, and he said he wasn't sure it would fit or make the album... and now it's likely be the next single...ummmm... sure make you wonder what's going on behind closed door between Adam & RCA!

*sighs* Well I already resigned myself for NCOE being the next single. When the snippets came out I pretty much hated the song, and thought that I'll never like it. But after hearing him do it acoustic, then revisiting the snippet, I actually like it now. It's still my least favorite, but its alright. And with the Brink fans being all sweet over it, surely doesn't hurt. I'm like whatever will be, will be. As long as he gets a hit, its fine with me. Just disappointed a little, because I think now that Naked love might never be a single, and it sounds like a perfect summer single too. And I'm one if those bad fans that don't really care about Adam having a writing on the song, I just want him to have great success... I am already in the level of "acceptance" that Naked Love will never be a single. So.. I'm fine with it.. LOL I know and it hurts Well maybe if we can get a Katy, Kesha or even Rihanna feature, maybe they will release it. Positive thoughts baby, positive thoughts, lol.

I don't know what I think about NCOE as a second single. I love the song. I love them all, uncritically. He can sell me anything.
But what I think is pretty much irrelevant to anyone but myself. What does matter is that Adam Lambert loves all the songs on Trespassing. That he worked his ass off. That he chose these songs out of 40-50 as THE BEST. It's normal that RCA chooses the singles, and I don't think Adam really cares THAT much which one is going to be the next because he's 100% behind every one of them.
I'm so fickle. Whatever he serves me at the moment, I'll eat with gusto and ask for more. Now it's Trespassing. I'm sure that he knows exactly what to do with NCOE.
How big of an influence can a single choice/ the order of singles have on the eventual success of an album or the single itself?
ETA There's definitely something not normal about the way NCOE was released as a single ( if that was what happened). I'm not suggesting that anyone (RCA, this Larry guy) has screwed Adam over, but wtf?

queenrockband.blogspot.ca/2012/04/adam-lambert-to-join-queen-stars-for.htmlAdam Lambert To Join Queen Stars For Two London Shows Queen stars Roger Taylor and Brian May have lined up two London dates with American Idol star Adam Lambert for fans who were hoping to see the new band live at the newly-cancelled Sonisphere Festival. The Queen stars recruited Lambert to belt out Freddie Mercury's hits at the British summer (Jul12) festival, but when it was scrapped last month (Mar12), the duo scrambled to find a fitting London venue to stage an alternative. Now drummer Taylor has revealed he'll be playing two concerts at the Hammersmith Odeon with May and Lambert in early July (12). The duo performed Queen songs with the American star during the Idol finals in 2009 and at the Mtv Europe Music Awards last year (11). Taylor tells Billboard.com, "We're really excited about it. Adam... has this unbelievable range, like Freddie had range. Adam can really cover it. He's an extraordinary singer and a real talent. I feel he fits into our sort of theatricality." The Queen stars will also perform with Lambert at a festival in Kiev, Russia, where they'll share the headliner spot with Elton John.

Many people who were in the audience are LIVING those lyrics. The Idol audience, any network TV appearance Adam may do - I think that's when he'll sing the single, whatever it is, and - I hope! - whatever it is will be iTunes available at that time.

reihmer---it has nothing to do with RCA's faith in Adam, rather it is their faith in radio and the PDs who control what gets played. I would guess that RCA would like nothing more than to release Trespassing as a single, it is the title track, it's hooky, and it's completely Adam. But, if they are being told by PDs that song might not be added, then what is gained. Trespassing is a great song, but if nobody gets to hear it... Thanks bullsfan. I'm seriously starting to think the only way to get PD's to release an Adam song is to blackmail them. I'm in!! Never underestimate the power of the Glamberts...
