I just want Adam to get some credibility as a songwriter. If I want to listen to Bruno Mars, I'll go listen to Bruno Mars, but no one's doing music like Adam's originals quite like he does. And it's good radio friendly stuff, so I don't see the problem. Let Bruno ride the airwaves with Bruno music, let Adam ride the airwaves with Adam music. yup. What a Day!: for me: 1) UP, UP, UP with the Queen announcement 2) Down, Down, down with the NCOE announcement 3) Up, up, up - may be NCOE is a rumor.... 4) a bit down - how come the "queen" related articles do not mention the new album? 5) UP, UP, UP - the NNN airing tonight OVERALL - UP!

I don't know what I think about NCOE as a second single. I love the song. I love them all, uncritically. He can sell me anything. But what I think is pretty much irrelevant to anyone but myself. What does matter is that Adam Lambert loves all the songs on Trespassing. That he worked his ass off. That he chose these songs out of 40-50 as THE BEST. It's normal that RCA chooses the singles, and I don't think Adam really cares THAT much which one is going to be the next because he's 100% behind every one of them. I'm so fickle. Whatever he serves me at the moment, I'll eat with gusto and ask for more. Now it's Trespassing. I'm sure that he knows exactly what to do with NCOE. How big of an influence can a single choice/ the order of singles have on the eventual success of an album or the single itself? ETA There's definitely something not normal about the way NCOE was released as a single ( if that was what happened). I'm not suggesting that anyone (RCA, this Larry guy) has screwed Adam over, but wtf? From what I understand, Larry Flick often previews hot new tracks on his show, this is not anything new for him. With his Sirius connections, he often has them before anyone else. Since Sirius is a subscriber only service, and Larry's channel is only a small niche on it, Larry giving his listeners a sneak preview will have absolutely no detrimental effect on RCA's rollout of the single. And ultimately, the "announcement" of the single is meaningless, the only thing that has any meaning is whether radio will play it. And from reports Larry called it a hit, so I don't see how that's anything but a positive for Adam. God I'm sure I'm being annoying with 3 posts in a row, but I'm absolutely mystified by the doom spiral I've just waded through in this thread. This is all fantastic news today! Haven't heard ANY doom, just a lot of discussion of personal likes and dislikes. Not one person said it would flop.

Keep trying to make this make sense. So, in essence, if a non-fan happens to catch one of the two airings of the NNN awards tonight, loves the performance, hell even LIKES the performance and therefore goes to iTunes to buy the song...nope, sorry. Nothing to see here. Oh, and even the album of the same name won't be out for a month. It's Marketing 101, you don't advertise what you're not selling. Sorry, but RCA needs to stop having meetings and make a decision. Gawd. Reminds me of why I left corporate life. here, bb..... try this, then EVERYTHING WILL MAKE SENSE AGAIN!!!SOULMATE , wtf ,how did you break into my FB account to steal that vid of me smoking, thanks for the smillie lesson, will study it when time allows, stuff the grammar lesson so excited about the QUEEN rumours ,i could toss a caber over edinburgh castle ,if it happens I WILL BE THERE!!!

For what it's worth, I'm excited as hell!! I just want a new song!! Any new song!!! Each of the snippets we've heard have been fabulous... If it's definitely NCOE - I'm totally onboard. If (when) that song is a SMASH, the label will be more likely to release our other favourites!! Oh, and NCOE also comes with Bruno fans - not a bad thing! Anyhoo.......Give us an official release announcement please, RCA! :D I'm with you! I just can't wait to hear (and have) new music to play! And see Adam get to sing more songs live! I love all the ones I've heard bits of in their different ways. I've noticed that whatever song I've listened to most recently live becomes my Favorite in that moment, lol. Listen, Adam likes singing all of these songs; he has said in recent interviews that he picked songs he knew he would enjoy singing over and over again. Whatever the next single is, he will bring everything he has to it, and that is always pure joy to hear and watch. A new single likely soon! I'm excited! May 15th is finally seeming closer!

OK..I have sped through this thread faster than a cat in heat, trying to see if tickets have been announced for QUEEN and ADAM in the UK.. **nothing** Then NCOE is proclaimed the next single..cause Larry Flick says so??? Guise..wow..I'm gonna have to start taking blood pressure meds soon All I can say..JMO etc etc. . DO WE REALLY KNOW SQUAT?? When Adam or RCA reveal what the next single is, I'll believe it and support it. Until then..
