LOL - in spite of Adam's very high verbal IQ, I have to admit you 're right! Having watched countless radio promo video over the past few months, I think his banter will improve dramatically. He is more comfortable with himself and the fans now. I agree. I think it's something he has to get used too coming from the theater background where there is the invisible wall between the performer and the audience that always must be maintained. I've been to a lot of concerts, everyone from Carrie Underwood to Marilyn Manson and gotta say there's not a lot of "banter" in most of the concerts I go to.

This move must stay in his performances and I think it should be added to every song! Even the ballads! ;D There should be an award category for best performance with a mick/mick stand. Adam would be the runaway favorite. The only problem would be narrowing down which one to nominate. Also, an award for best pants would go to the NNN/GNT pants hands down. Magical things happen when he wears those pants. Just look at Gelly's birthday gifs... If you look at Ashley to the right in the gif it looks like she does a down/up movement when Adam does his with the mick stand! lol

Oh I think he's ALWAYS BRILLIANT in an interview scenario....it's just on stage during his concerts....man o' man.. (I think when he's on stage he's uncomfortable going off script with the banter...and yet has no problem instantaneously reworking a song musically. Interesting). I'm sure he'll be better next tour, too. aloha...not so much "stale" or repetitive (although it was ) but rather "awkward". Which surprises me considering he's a natural, intuitive conversationalist. The funny thing is that if you see some of his pre-idol (what is that name of that dinner/performance place he used to sing at?) performances his banter was quite at ease. Maybe its because he is staring out into bright lights or something. IDK, its kind of funny and endearing.

I wasn't referring to his interviews though. I was referring to his banter between the songs and his off the cuff comments to the audience comments. He is just all around more comfortable with everything, this go round, IMO. So true! I told the story 2 years ago about how personal I thought PINK'S banter was to the LA audience when I saw her in 2009. Then I bought her DVD of the concerts filmed in Australia and damn if the banter wasn't exactly the same!LOL!

Adam was really cute, funny, witty, hilarious, and spontaneous at the Houston event I got to attend! I hope we will see more of that on the next tour and less "Would.you.like.to.meet.my rock.band? They're.sexy.aren't.they."
Though I would miss being called "ladies and gentlemen" one minute and "motherfuckers" the next. ;D

Bit of a different scenario (intimate radio setting) versus the stage of a large venue....but okay, I see what you're saying. He DOES look very comfortable this time around, but I've always thought he was comfortable in front of an intimate audience. Still think it's his need or compulsion to "stage" a show and everything connected to it, which makes his song introduction etc a bit rigid ..or stilted...then again - THAT'S WHY HE PUTS ON A HELUVA SHOW!! He plans every freakin' detail! I think it's kinda adorkable too... not complaining.

Ashley is so badass she can even play bass, with no strap, while crouched to her knees!
