The frustrating thing about Adam's rollouts,last time and now: Last album out /first single out ,It wasn't on I Tunes for a while,nobody knew what was up next. Although Adam did have a great deal of coverage through the Idol Tour,AMAs ,maybe not a great thing,TV shows,etc.Also nobody knew where Adam's Glam Nation Tour would be and when. Many of us wanted to buy tickets a head of time but the schedule kept changing.So we would buy tickets out of state only to find out Adam would be appearing near our town or in our town.
This time the cart always seem to come before the horse. We get snippets,we get Trespassing on the NNN awards ,but it's not on I Tunes. The whole mess with Queens cancellation and now rumors but no facts, about new venue for reunion with Queen. What's the new single,how will it be presented.. DJs ,hosts taking guesses about new title. Will I Tunes be ready when it's finally launched . It's so lame how can anyone buy Adam's music,buy tickets for his shows. THe best example of things going nuts was how BTIKM was thrown out there without PR.. many reasons ,but no reason good enough IMHO.
It was a sink or swim song.. Thanks to Adam's fans ,it didn't sink ,it just didn't swim. Adam's team has to do better than this..We're his fans and we know nothing,how will potential new fans ever find out about Trespassing???
I wonder if it's the way for other artists..just seems so disorganized to say the least.
My head is spinning in confusion.. there has to be a better way to get PR for an emerging new album.. Radio is important,but schedules are also very important.. don't you think?Ramblings from a confused fan.
We need an Ed type person,a PR person to update us.. Shoshanna is great ,but she's in England. Look what they did to her plans,with delaying the album in England.OY

Two things -- Did Adam pick RCA to manage this album release? I know there was some kind of change just can't remember how it went. Didn't Adam say that they recorded something like 50 songs for this second album and of the 50 they pared it down to 16. Does it make sense that of the 16 or so album choices that there are any now that he is not proud of and wouldn't want released? He is the executive producer, right? He is probably proud of all songs. But that's not, what it is about. It is discussing about which song would help his carrier most. Last summer he changed his management from 19M to DMG, not his label RCA. I think RCA is responsible for choosing the singles and radio and his Management for TV and print media if I'm not wrong |
