Gelly, thanks for the welcome and I know, it makes me mad. I saw some people I follow on twitter just talking about it and can't believe it. They were saying maybe throw Xtina's Beautiful a vote too which I tend to agree with as it truly is an anti-bullying anthem as well. The very first one in fact. You're welcome and I agree! Beautiful is N.1 for me too. But I won't vote for it, cause right now I'm mad because KA's song is n.1 and it's really making me angry. I'm not of those people who dislike KA, I actually don't care AT ALL what he does, but come on! How do we vote? Do I just write Adam's name and song in the comment section? And what's with KA stalking us two days in a row? Please, #1... I haven't even heard his song, and I don't plan to. The discussion of KA has been closed as being off topic. Feel free to go to his website and discuss whatever, but, please keep ATop focused on Adam. |

I don't know if this isn't the right place to discuss about this but I try: How many of you read regularly fan fiction stories, especially about A & S? "Dirty" ones? Everything is so new to me in the world of Adam, because I just found them few days ago!!!! And I like them... well, most of them : I go through periods of getting a kick out of fanfic, and periods where I find it so eyerolling that I don't bother to read anything for half a year. The sensitivity with fanfic containing real-life people as characters (versus movie or book characters) is that some people don't draw a strong enough line between fiction and reality. If a fanfic author wants to star Mr. Darcy in a Roman-type orgy or Legolas in an erotic relationship with a reformed orc, fine. They're just story characters. If Barney from 'How I Met Your Mother' gets trussed up on a private jet and does sex acts with with trained llamas, fine. Barney is just a tv role. When an author imagines Adam and Sauli in bed together....that's imposing a layer of fiction onto reality. Which is fine EXCEPT that some peeps may start confusing the two (which IMO) is what happened with some of the Adam/Tommy fic. [grins] I'm certain some of the Adam/Sauli fic is EXTREMELY hot. However, realize that because of the reality blur line (and particularly since a number of peeps here have prior issues with a few Twitter fanatics who have consistently insisted that fantasy relationships with band members like Tommy are real), some ATOP members are uneasy with Adam fanfic. |

It's VERY difficult for new fans to comprehend the intensity and the variety of the emotions in the fandom. It's really overwhelming... I remember my baby twitter steps, when I tweeted something about Tommy and being whipped and unfollowed by some people. I didn't know what'd hit me. It took some time to grasp it all. A lot of time, actually, when I come to think of it. Adam's fandom is as diverse as any, I guess. Also, I remember finding this forum, and idiotic as I am, I didn't know you could actually click onto the next page. I thought what kind of a forum was this when all they did was congratulate birthdays and posted cake pictures, lol ;D Once I posted a picture which was too large, by mistake, of course. Man, I won't even say the number of yelling messages I got It was scary. But, I feel like I'm slowly but surely catching up. I did get all the answers right yesterday |

Indeed. ;D I don't like to read fanfiction about A&S because it's just someone else's hopes and dreams about how they are together... I don't like that. I write fanfiction too... not rpf though... but now I've been tempted... You know... There's NO T/S fanfiction around... at least I haven't found any... yet.  |

[practically] The Vision of Love is being promoted as an anti-bullying song, and the recently released vid depicts a boy being bullied. I'm not surprised at all its doing well. None of Adam's *general release* songs fit this meme. If people want to vote for a song like Aftermath...well, ok. A remix was released for the Trevor project. But, typically an album track won't resonate with a wide swath because it hasn't been heard and/or doesn't have an associated vid . [shrugs] I'm at peace if Adam doesn't win this one. |

Hi Alexandra - You posted some months ago a very detailed chart of Adam and Sauli. It was a quite long one and I didn't have time to read it properly then. Afterwards, when I wanted to read it, I couldn't find it anymore. Do you still have it? A lot has happened since and it would be nice to read it again.
