All will be well for AFL. Iconic entertainers that are this special don't come along frequently. He's acknowledged that fan support was essential in getting him to this point. Lets continue to keep it positive and supportive over the next few weeks and months while he's slated to work his ass off in birthing his baby, Trespassing, and presenting it to the world.

Okay, so it looks like NCOE is being released on Tuesday; that's only 5 days from now. Doesn't it seem a little weird that there has been no formal announcement from Adam or RCA, and no radio ad date? Not to be a worrier, but shouldn't there be a little more fanfare from RCA about the release by now? I'm not sure how important announcement fanfare is in the scheme of things, what really matters is that radio starts spinning it. Plus Adam just told us about it yesterday, we probably should give RCA at least a little time to do their thing. My point is that I would think that RCA would want to build some awareness of NCOE before releasing it for sale, in order to maximize sales. To get decent sales, you need to have more than stans know about it. I'm just surprised that it looks like NCOE will be on sale even before any radio stations start spinning it. |

Most people need to hear a song several times before they click that button to buy it. I mean, sure it would be great if there was a big splashy premiere, I won't argue with that. But I don't think it's vital for the long term success of the track. And whatever they do is really dependent on the rollout strategy they've laid out that we're not privy to. |
