EW was at least nicer about this single than they were about BTIKM. Trying to look on the bright side. Anyway, I think NCOE will be very radio-friendly, and that may have been the issue with BTIKM. It's all good. I left a positive comment to balance the haters. :-) Other artists have had trouble with a first single before; he's still got a good future for this album.

I set them straight! ;D But the album version is out and on multiple sites today, including Adam Official and by many reviewers who actually took the time to do their research! Why are you posting the acoustic version? Yes I had to comment too... But so far it has not posted on the site. I put a link to the official soundcloud so will see what they do about that if/when my comment posts. It won't post a comment with a link in it. That's why I just said Adam Official. There are many comments now about the actual track being out and how idiotic they are to write a review for something they haven't heard! The one commenter "blake" is just a troll and needs to be ignored.

OMFG Music ♫ @omfgmusic Reply Retweet Favorite · Open .@adamlambert debuts hot new single "Never Close Our Eyes": www.omfgmusic.net/2012/04/adam-lambert-debuts-new-song-never.htmlADAM LAMBERT DEBUTS NEW SONG "NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES" Hot, hot, hot! A glistening synth meets dubstep single produced by the master Doctor Luke finds Adam Lambert sounding better than ever. Even though his very impressive first single "Better Than I Know Myself" didn't catch on, Lambert's newest single "Never Close Our Eyes" sounds like a hit.

WTF EW ??? They release the article today and instead of posting the studio version they muble and muble bullshit and then they post an acoustic version of NCOE with stupid comments? Dumbfuckers! Oh well... Rant over. Ignore. They are alone by themselves. I set them straight! ;D But the album version is out and on multiple sites today, including Adam Official and by many reviewers who actually took the time to do their research! Why are you posting the acoustic version? Nice . I swear that Grady guy was personally offended by BTIKM... It's almost funny at this point.

The problem is that the most of the hateful comments are located on the first page. That, plus the shitty article, equals ****. Who's going to bother clicking onto the next pages of comments.
So, the single negative review. Not bad.

Can those of you on twitter show him so love, his feed is not active at all, well except that tweet person I am talking about... Love the song and such a great day! done....we've got to do our part to counter any negativity. (only one silly tweeter...but still). also...that bit on Ryan's site is really written poorly. Dear Lord....I know we joke about grammar on this forum - but man, when you're writing professionally....ouch!

chartrigger.blogspot.ca/2012/04/its-adam-lamberts-never-close-our-eyes.htmlIt's Adam Lambert's "Never Close Our Eyes" For his second Trespassing single, Adam Lambert was given a Bruno Mars-penned song from 2010. Thankfully, "Never Close Our Eyes" is more "total jam" than tired leftover. Of course, it kind of reminds me of "Moves Like Jagger," which means I could be sick of it after hearing it on the radio 5,043 times. But, really, what are the odds of that happening? Naturally Dr. Luke is on production chores here.
