Kanadie so sorry to hear about the Moscow date change. I agree with others to just step back and let it settle in before doing anything. I think Craazyforadam's idea to call the airlines is a good idea. I think they would work with you and try to get your ticket changed with little cost since you already paid so much in changes fees.

And as Januarysnow posted above, she could try to help make sure you have a ticket for the Moscow show.

I hope you decide to go if your work schedule makes it possible. Don't want you or other Atopians to miss ADAM ON STAGE SINGING WITH QUEEN!!!!

Me too -I've got a little Adam CD display going in my office, and I must have one of everything. And we wouldn't order more than 10 at a time anyway, since then they wouldn't count towards Billboard, as I understand it. Tho I assume we can get the different standard cover art somewhere besides Walmart, and then it won't be censored.

I think I should have made it clearer that my optimistic vine was MY wish list for and from Adam, not necessarily his. And that I was addressing only his music career. I pondered including the comment about Freddie. Do you think I should take it out? I don't want any lurkers here who are Freddie's fans to get upset. The little rebel inside me, or perhaps it was the Bloody Mary convinced me to include it. I see, time and again, Adam's voice being compared to Freddie, and while it is meant as the ultimate compliment, from MY vocalist's point of view, what Adam can do with his voice surpasses Freddie in his prime. I know, I know, sacrilege. Freddie is an Icon, and deserves to be. But, listening to VOCALS alone, in terms of technique, flexibility and versatility, I have to give it to Adam. However, on balance, Adam has a way to go before I would put him in Freddie's league when it comes to song writing. Sorry, Adam, just keeping it real.

As for stage presence and showmanship, they are different, IMO, but equally compelling. Personally, I find Adam to be better looking, and his moves more sinuous with a stronger dance training background from his many years of work in musical theater.

What I was ineptly trying to say with my comment about "Freddie who?" is if someone who, for some unknown reason, is unfamiliar with Queen + Freddie were to attend the Queen + Adam performance it would blow their minds! The best of the best.

As to my last point about Adam singing classical music, yeah, I know, it has about a 0.0001 percent chance of happening, at least in the near future. But, this is MY list, and it is my contention that Adam has the chops to sing what I consider the most difficult vocal music in the world. He also took a year of opera vocal training in his teens, and has sung light opera in a previous life, when he was scraping to pay the rent and buy food. Because I come from a classical background, I want classical musicians to recognize and respect Adam's amazing talent, even if they don't appreciate the type of music he chooses to perform. For me, it is the ultimate "No trespassers, yeah, my ass! Wait'll you get a hold of me!"

On my list, Adam would have wowed fans of pop, rock, musical theater, jazz and blues, and classical music. Maybe I should have included a country music one-off ---------- nah, while I am confident he could pull it off I have zero desire to hear that. Like I said, this is MY wish list. What is yours?
