I've been jumping in voting all morning while doing email follow up and for the first time in the voting challenges I actually saw the percentage change. Adam's ahead, not by much tho'! |

There is a mention upthread about a Walmart edition of Trespassing. Does that mean a censored version w/o f**k, a** and North Pole ( ;D)? My DIL is a fan, but would be hesitant to play the original in the car, taking her kids to school. In her case it would be nice to have a censored version as well as an original version for her car time alone. Just hope she would not get them mixed up!  |

Just saw this on twitter via @azglamfan: "Elton Daily site lists Elton, Adam, Queen Kiev concert June 12th to be confirmed..." Wow, if this is true, it's so far from the Moscow date of Jul 3........ kiev, was supposed to be 7/1. so what has changed ? I doubt it there was no announced date for Kiev in any of the press releases or stories. Fan speculation was putting it an July 1 in conjunction with some sporting event closing ceremonies. But I don't recall any announced date for the Elton concert. If someone has a link to an official announcement could they post it? |

I don't know but I bought a copy of Glamnation at WalMart and it wasn't edited or labeled explicit either. |

OT - since we are discussing taxes allow me to vent my own frustration....just did my taxes online and for the first time ever ended up owing...$1300 to be exact (not even remotely close to the $10K duber owes but still >:( )....the reason I owe? Apparently you no longer qualify for the child tax credit after they turn 16? really? and here I'm still paying for everything for her, she's still in high school and still legally a minor/child and I don't get the child tax credit? WTF? I wouldn't have been able to travel to any of Adam's shows anyway so the tax thing didn't change anything it just burns my freakin cookies and I wanted to vent about it back on topic...listening to NCOE makes me feel better Apparently you make too much money to qualify for the deduction. When we first adopted our 2 kids, for the first 3 years we could not get the deduction because our income was too high. It was only after we retired and our income significantly dropped, that we able to claim them. Our daughter has not been deductible since the age of 18, even though we were fully supporting her. Our son still qualifies but not for long. |

cassie, in my opinion classical musicians are the EASIEST to "trespass", simply because in classical music it doesn't matter if you are young, old, male, female, beautifull, ugly, straight, gay, Chinese, Italian, Esthonian, Alien.
It doesn't matter if you play classical, jazz, pop, flamenco, traditional or whatever.
All it matters is how you play your music. How good you are.
For me the VENUES would help. Not Adam singing opera to attract them, but playing HIS music, doing HIS show in a venue that usually books more "serious" artists. That would help this audience to discover him.
You want radio? Visit radio stations.
You want classical music audience? Visit their "home".
