I haven't been able to keep up with Adam events this week. Someone please explain why everyone thinks there will not be "Trespassing" Summer concerts. Why would Adam wait until fall? I can't say why others people think Fall tour, but the timing seems about right to me...... Adam spends about 3 months promoting the album including Europe-UK in July. Asia-Pacific takes a couple of weeks. Puts together the tour. Then a month to rehearse. Puts it into Fall or later. Plus Adam has said in recent interviews that he hasn't started working on the tour yet. Plus first he needs to sell some albums. Plus he want to do a headline tour, not open for someone else, so Adam and his management need to put the deals together. Lots of moving parts. Fall is optimistic IMHO. |

I worked in the studio with my own music composition and production. I organized the artists lineup and run of show for the Montreux Jazz Festival on July 13, the night that I'm performing and curating. I also had two conference calls and I did an interview with Rolling Stone magazine. It was regarding the Adam Lambert Song "Shady." I played on this song a few months ago.The journalist wanted to know what it was like to work with Adam. I explained to him that working with Adam felt comfortable and desperate at the same time. "Desperate?," he asked. "In what way?" I said, "We only had a few hours to work because of both our schedules." I was leaving town the next day as was Adam. Time was our enemy but because we had no choice we booked Avatar studio and just went in to get it done.Adam was professional and focused but he also allowed me to interpret the song my way. After I played what I wanted, we collaborated on some other ideas. Then, I just jammed along and improvised on The Adam Lambert Song "Shady." |

The shows for Hammersmith Apollo on July 11 and 12 will still happen. Queen have given priority seating to fans who booked to see them at Knebworth. When tickets go on sale next week, they will go first to the Queen fan club then to the Sonsiphere holders from Knebworth.
