OK I had to respond to that Moser article and did it as Q3. I think he was just trying to get clicks. It was not a bad article but not accurate. So I thought a response was called for. Adam has been a constant supporter of American Idol and is one of the few past Idols who has helped generate buzz for this season's contestants. He has never said anything that would distance himself from Idol -- and has consistently said he would not be where he is today without Idol and his fans.
But I do not think that Adam is solely defined by Idol and a large percentage of his fans are not from his Idol season -- and that is what I mean when I comment that "Adam has moved beyond Idol" -- that he has moved beyond the Idol fanbase to get new fans, some in countries where American Idol is not important or well known.
Regarding when Carrie, Kelly and Daughtry were last on Idol -- they have all been on recently and regularly.
Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson were on Idol – May 26, 2010 – for the AI9 Finale tribute to Simon.
Carrie Underwood appeared on Idol 2 times last season -- American Idol (FOX) on Wednesday, May 26, 8:00pm ET live/PT tape-delayed she performed “Undo It” and she also performed on “Idol Gives Back” earlier that season season.
Kelly Clarkson – performed on Idol to promote her last album March 10, 2009.
Daughtry performed on American Idol on FOX, May 12, 2010 and performed their new single "September," from Leave This Town album.
So if you are really trying to be fair -- why not correct this article and list when these other three successful Idol alums were last on American Idol.
Need to race into work -- so was not really careful with my research and did not look to make sure Daughtry appeared for the scheduled appearance. And sure, I'm tuning into AI9 for Daughtry. Like -- no chance I was there. |

Idol is broadcast LIVE 8:00PM Eastern Standard Time (NEW YORK) that is 5:00PM Pacific (ADAM TIME).
Does anyone know what VH1 is doing/did today on Jump Start????? Why did they list a new video for ADAM LAMBERT?

I think that particular vendor has a range of different products that allow some minor customization like monograms or engraving. Kind of like when you work for a corporation and order bulk gifts or promo items with your company name on them from a vendor. I think this is in line with where Adam's budget is for merch right now, since just like when corporations do it for gifts etc there is a minimum order that must be committed to and it's not small. The kind of beautiful customized merch we can all dream up in our heads would likely be cost prohibitive. However I have no explanation for the design of some of the tshirts, that defies all logic LOL. Besides, we are probably not the target audience for those particular merch items anyway, unless we wear them ironically. I think they're more for the Hot Topic crowd. these merch and not for ANY CROWD. And i think you answered the question. I mean why on earth are these shirts soo ugly also. I bought so many and the only one i wear is the Eye of Horus and even on this one the texture of the cloth is cheap. I get what you're saying about engraving and stuff, i do not expect for them to be customized but i'm absolutely sure they would come up with much much better designs. These ones are like no one put just a single thought on them. I have many t-shirts from other artists and bands that are amazing.The texture of the cloth ,the designs are pieces of art. And i'm not talking about huuuge bands or artists. JMHO Well, I really like my son's CLASSIXX t-shirt, and they didn't have any money to work with. They designed the shirt themselves, in two styles, a t-shirt and a tank top, and the fit is great as well. They are all over everything they put out, the art, the graphics, everything because it represents them, and they want it to be cool. Adam is so interested in fashion himself, and has such a talented community of friends, that I don't really get his merch. His t-shirt should be something he would want to wear himself or something he'd like to see his girlfriends wear. I LOVE him so much, but his t-shirts... not so much, LOL. I feel so happy starting off my work day knowing that Adam will be on TV, singing live, at the end of it! I also loved hearing Adam say his heart is full right now. Hopefully, all those powerful emotions will translate into some powerful music for Adam 2. |

Sauli seems really grounded and sweet. WOW Sauli is his own person and refuses to cash in on fame because of Adam. Good character! The more I hear about Sauli, the more I like him! Thanks for bringing this over. Adam seems to have good judgement about people! |

TONIGHT: Adam on American Idol. He will perform Acoustic Aftermath.  I wonder what Monte means by that tweet. What does Adam have planned for tonights performance? Aww, I love this! Even Monte doesn't want to miss an opportunity to kiss and hug Adam. I will be out of town tonight so Squeeee for me too! |
