are we back in our happy place now?  I hope so because we probably won't see Adam on tv again for awhile and I think we should roll around in the glittery moment We've been saying that a lot and yet he always finds a way to show up. Thank goodness he's so charismatic people want him on. Oh and I thought his performance was spot on. Maybe his lower notes weren't as supported/strong as they grew to be on tour but I still think they were in tune. Not my favorite version of the performance since I prefer the less rock/smoother tour version but lovely. And one thing that I love about him is that he brought Tommy and Isaac on giving them a paying job. He could have easily only brought on Monte but he found a way for all of them. |

The meds for the inmates of AFL asylum hadn't kicked in yet when you left. Meds, lollies, and calming words now have the patients fans calm and in the appropriate squeeing modes. |

Stop w/the James is taller...  Did we think Adam was the tallest singer ? I haven't caught up, so not sure why it's such a problem unless ... never mind, only funny to me Not a problem in the least; tongue was firmly planted in cheek. Hence the smileys. That was my "pearl clutching" - obviously I'm failing at the sardonic humor.  :-/ |

hey guys! Must admit I watched Adam's Aftermath at least 10 times, did he look gorgeous or what? Has MyS*&@^#r made it back yet with her review?
The crowd really loved him, I thought he was totally awesome, must say he looked a little angelic to me!

... HOW THE HELL CAN HE BE SO BEAUTIFUL???? I love all the different looks Adam has, but this has to be my favorite!! Not just this particular performance, but everytime he goes with *less is more*. Just shows the natural beauty to me, anyways. ... Aftermath has always been *my song*. Just ask hoopla1, she'll tell you...lol!! I love every version of it!! Yep, even on FYE!! And, I always will. I'm one of the few that loved it from the beginning. The words just spoke to me. I am forever grateful that those 4 wrote this wonderful song. It will be in my heart forever!!! Me too, Glittergma ! My favourite song from his first CD (I love saying that 'first'!) in any version - even the remix!! The first of his remixes I've actually been wanting to listen to more than once (I bought them all, of course - just don't listen!) and re "beautiful" - I completely lost the singing watching him live - apparently, I can't look at him and still hear! Had to go back and listen again... |

Idol doesn't need Adam's help IMO. The show is going strong after 9 complete seasons. I would be watching with or without Adam just as I watched prior to him being on the show. I think a lot of the problem for Adam is this overhype of his importance in the grand scheme of the life of this show. Idol is a monster and no one contestant can make or break it IMO. I beg to disagree, since I never watched before or after Adam and there are lots out there like me...I'm not alooooooone Sometimes commentary is the voice of reason, other times it is a wet blanket. JMO I don't think there is anyone here, well maybe a very few, who think Adam is bigger than Idol, but you know what, they keep asking him back and when he shows up so do lots of screamers and viewers. Again, win for everyone, and Adam looked beautiful, brought the boys along - yea!!!- and showed everyone else why we love him. That smile alone is worth 1,000 Twitter followers ! He has the most open, welcoming personality of anyone I have ever seen, and the "clean look" as Paula called it, may have some more comfortable. I'd like to say, "Screw 'em if they don't like the glitter," but it is so cool that Adam is BOTH of these personas, neither being a suck-up fake, just a different side. Blah, blah, blah. I'm here alone with no one to flail to, so you all have to take the brunt of that. |
