Totally OT - but this night (it's past 9 PM already here now) has something else for me to wait for too  . There is a litter of Sheltie pups on their way to this world and my Tommy is their dad. Waiting for news by phone sometime during the night, and hoping everything will go well. Just wanted to share this piece of personal life ;D. |

When I watched AI8, I followed the voting on DialIdol, which is a site that measures the busy signals to determine votes. It was very accurate most of the time for the top vote getters, depending on how close the votes are. Sometimes the top 4 could end up in a different order, but were always the top 4, if I remember correctly, which, as you know, ain't always so. :-/. Before I get poofed from this thread into the AI one, I willl make this "thread appropriate" by noting that it appears GNAFLS' twat may have helped Pia, or she was really good without his help ???: 1. Scotty McCreery 2. James Durbin 3. Jacob Lusk 4. Pia Toscano This site is also 95% accurate for the booted contestant, until the very end, when the votes are really close. From the discussions I've seen, DialIdol is considered a thing of the past. It cannot count text votes and now cannot count the web votes on AI. Most of Dial Idol's predictions seem to fall in the indeterminable category. Adam's tweet also came after the East Coast voting was closed. |

I need some hand holding.. all this anticipation for tonight.. the pressure..  Having dejavu of that other night and I am freaking a bit..someone either slap me.. or hold me.. LOL |

LOL some of us need enough compensatory experiences to wash that memory away, right? WWFM with the lazers was a good one, and I'm sure tonight will be another ..... well, there have been many, many other good experiences Ellen's for example |
