How many of us would be watching idol tonight if it weren't for Adam? Well, TODAY you're watching, I'm watching, but what about next week and the rest of the season? His performance is a two-way-street....it's good for Idol, it's good for Adam as it has a huge audience, but I'm quoting Adam here: It's not that deep about who's saving whom. I think Adam will be great as always,Idol is his home turf & they all love him on the show. This is about raising awareness & money for the Trevor Project. The fact that Adam ,once again, is helping a charity shows what an amazing person he is. Adam shows the world how love can defeat bigotry, who could possibly not love such a noble soul.

He was on Idol last year - were people also so nervous? He was great, no? Why suddenly the insecurity? Hahah! Yes, the nervous people were nervous and the zen people were zen, just like now It's not about Adam doing well, IMO, it's more about fans wishing/hoping that the 25 zillion TV viewers and all the alien life forms on distant planets who will receive the signal a zillion light years from now, see what we love. I think what we fans want so much is for more and more people to ~get it. And of course AI is a great vehicle for that. Me, I'm feeling kalm and kollected (tm Annie), but reserve the right to freak out completely as it gets closer to showtime. ;D And CatePF, thanks for that vid about the dangers of posting pics online. Yikes! I checked my phone settings to make sure I was safe.

QUESTION: Are we staying in this thread for Adam's Idol appearance this evening? Or will there be a new thread for it???

I have no doubt at all that Adam will be awesome tonight. Just wish these next few hours would just scurry on by quickly!

I haven't watched Idol since season 8 (except when AFL was on last year) and I don't intend to watch it again after tonight..for me Adam did break Idol and from what I read, it is slowly going downhill since 2009..looking forward to seeing X-factor..should be interesting see the ratings for tonight's show Actually the show has been losing ratings since Season 5 when Taylor Hicks beat Daughtry.

Just got home from work and reading the weekend section of the paper and this is on the inside page. How does this relate to Adam read all the way to the end..
Former American Idol winner Kris Allen, above, and pop-rock singer-songwriters Ryan Star and Matt Hires are coming to Coachman Park in Clearwater on March 13 for "Pet-A-Palooza," a pet-friendly adopt-a-thon and day of fun with more than 40 vendors, booths and more. The doors open at 11 a.m. (Let's hope they get everything cleaned up from Wild Splash the day before.) Tickets are available here or at the gate for $10, $1 of which will go to Animal Based Charities. We think you should go and adopt a dog, and name it Adam Lambark
