I am non-partisan on the NoCal-SoCal debate and have lived in both BUT Adam is clearly a SoCal boy. So that just makes SoCal>>>>any place on earth. ITA that Adam is a SoCal boy but he also has that hippie/spiritual/love-everybody vibe that is more Santa Cruz/Berkeley/SanFran-ish than stereotypical LA (image-focused, superficial, etc). I used to live in So Cal and my sis does still and it's a different world down there. But I love all my SoCal friends and there are beautiful spirits all over, so s'all good :D Maybe --- but he is also a West LA 'club kid" --- and is really hard to classify. One of my fav things about Adam is that he isn't just outside of the box --- he does not except that the box exists. The result is a song like Trespassing -- what genre is it? Either it can be in 3 genres or no genre. The result is a sense of fashion that is similar to other people but somewhat unique. |

Thanks for the well wishes, melliemom, cheriemelissa & adamrocks! Made it home from the store before it started pouring. Big thunder & lightning now...UGH! Gonna have to shut down & unplug. I would SO cry if my computer got fried. Cheriemelissa, I have to go back to Vh1 & check it out to see how we can still vote. Saw people voting this week, but I didn't get there. Bad stan. :( Adamrocks, aren't you in line for these storms too? I'm watching the weather channel now & it appears you are. Several big red areas heading right for me (eastern Nebraska). Yikes!!! Huge lightning outside! Old kitty is under the bed & I'll never get her out. She's terrified of storms. I'm not usually too afraid, but for some reason, I'm kinda leary of this one. So, I'll check back in later. Wish me luck!! I'm sure all will be fine. Luv ya all!!!! It's off the voting page. I guess Jim was saying "Good Bye!" :( I'm catching up for a minute since it's calmed down a bit here....for now. :/ That's really weird that Jim would be saying goodbye when he said something to the effect of BTIKM being a contender and to vote to get it back on the countdown?? Oh well, who knows? |

I am just totally befuddled about a May 1 add time. Why put out the song now and wait 2 and half weeks before adds. It makes no sense. I would think a month lead time before album release would be more appropriate. It's just seems clueless to me.
