It's great to see so much of us playing in the deep end of the pool. Maybe I'm just projecting you there.... Thank you, Jazzrocks for the the tear inducing dolphin vid and Lynne for the great essay on the energy transfer in a healthy classroom. Both are joyful and the reciprocity of spirit is true magic. I am thankful that I found this board!!!!! While I don't post often, I appreciate every day all the joy, love, work and caring that is shared here. My goal is to not only meet AFL, but also many of you just to be able to say "Thank You. Your talent, generosity of spirit, intelligence and humor have enriched my life." Thank you!

Happy Easter to all who celebrate it now!!
I have quite a number of friends who are in households that are half Catholic-half Orthodox -- and they mostly choose to do secular Easter on the Roman Catholic date and religious celebration on the Orthodox date.
My family which is Jewish-Catholic could never come up with such an elegant solution.

The two songs I have not heard live from FYE are PUU and CLYG -- and I would love to hear both!! And the entire TFM would not be bad either! He hasn't done Master Plan either but it's my least favourite Adam song after Strut so I'm not complaining. Pick U Up and CLYG are really tough songs to sing though! From 2:21 in Pick U Up he keeps singing until about 2:50 without a breath, if you listen carefully you can hear a desperate inhale just before "paaassed myyy tiiime". He must have whale lungs to be able to pull that off! Would be really hard to do it live night after night. Maybe a one-off performance sometime though? And CLYG is HIGH! Would probably need to lower the key by two or maybe three semitones to do it live. He hit higher live notes on just about every GNT but the phrasing on them is so tricky. Would enjoy hearing it live though An acoustic version maybe? Could sing the last chorus in a beautiful falsetto/head voice like Tracks of my Tears Oh I forgot that -- but MP is not on my "before I die" wish list!!!

Orthodox Church which some might say is the actual original Christian church and not all Christian churches agree on the calendar or how to calculate when Easter falls. True, it's totally because of a different calendar. I am half Russian and when my grandparents were alive we celebrated both! Christmas too! But even with the US calendar, isn't Easter a different day, and even month, alternating between April and March each year...?

I have finished the book "Fifty Shades of Grey." I think the writers of fanfic on LiveJournal are better than this book. If anyone wants to read "Fifty Shades of Grey," I will mail my book to them. Just PM me with your address. First PM I get will get the book.

But even with the US calendar, isn't Easter a different day, and even month, alternating between April and March each year...? The Gregorian Calendar is used as the world's civil calendar and by the Western Christian Churches and a few Orthodox Churches. The Julian Calendar is used by most Christian Churches. Easter moves around on both calendars because it is a lunisolar holiday. Based on the first full moon in Spring -- like Passover. It gets further complicated because the Gregorian Calendar and the Julian Calendar do not align -- and have shifted further apart over the centuries.

I was just channel surfing during lunch and saw Justin Bieber on the Country Music Channel. I was like, wtf, that kid is everywhere, country? Turns out it was an episode of Punked involving Taylor Swift. The "joke' was the firework he shot off his Malibu beach house deck landed on a large boat, started a fire, destroyed the wedding taking place there and people's lives were in danger (dramatic rescues, etc). All paid actors and special effects. Of course, Taylor is all concerned and upset, etc believing it is real. :-[ This crap is considered Funny? ??? And all I could think....This is NOT Adam's world. He would never, or at least I hope he would not, ever be involved with anything like this.

(but I know it's just a wish/dream).. that Brian will ask Adam to sing it on the Queen concert.. :-/
