I saw that too. Wasn't it the gal that sang Jar of Hearts (not that song, but a newer one)? Wonder if we can ask Vh1 how this works? Just don't get why Jim said that if you can't vote for it. So many questions....lol! In case you didn't see my post earlier addressing this, the Countdown Contenders is a regular part of the program where clips are played from the songs that were #21, 22 and 23 on the countdown and Jim always says if you want to see them on the countdown you have to vote. This was not something that was specific to BTIKM and his spiel about voting is given no matter what songs are played so there is no significance to what he said that is in any way specific to BTIKM. It is probably rare that a song would be in one of those slots just as it is removed from voting so they probably didn't even think about it or the decision to remove it from voting may have been made after the countdown was filmed. No big mystery here and no knock against us or Adam. I appreciate the explanation but my only question was can we still vote for it in someway to get it back on. Doesn't seem to be too far to go if it's #21. From all the reply's it doesn't look good!Oh well, bring on NCOE!!!!!!! My diggits are ready! ;D |

Re QAF / NCOE correlation - I loved it, but yes, with a more diverse crowd  That's what we need: both men and women, all casually, sparsely dressed in translucent, whitish materials... dancing like maniacs. Re Adam-Brian: I'm not familiar with the gay relationship dynamics, but don't you think Adam should be paired with Justin ( in unconstrained spaces of our dirty minds  ? Because both Adam and Brian are kind of dominant, and tend to look for smaller boys? The first time such thing crossed my mind was when everybody started calling Sauli the Sunshine, which was Justin's nickname on the show It was so funny, but I could see the link immediately. Morning all. Not much going on today I see. Can't believe I've already caught up on the thread for today. I've been lurking since NNN, rl has kept me pretty busy since then.
Q3 - Thanks for your editorial on "Trespassing". I agree with you about the album title. I know we were all impressed when we first heard it, but it bears repeating. I remember the contest to Guess The Title of album 2 and at the time I thought some of the suggestions were so good that we might actually be stealing his thunder. LOL Of course, he comes up with the PERFECT choice. Trespassing works on so many levels. I'm sure we're NOT over-thinking it either. You know he's thought this through right down to images of how he will work it into the tour.
NoAngel - Ain't it the truth? We're all kind of on a world clock now. Instead of Greenwich Mean Time, we're on Adam Mean Sweet Time regardless of what clock the rl world around us is using. :D
WITWIAL: What I'm starting to feel and see among others' comments is that Adam has been withdrawn for a little too long now. I'm feeling restless. He Tweeted, but just his usual promotion stuff. Are we even sure where he is? I'm assuming he's in Hollywood. But are we sure? Is Kimmel the first place we know of that he has to make an apprearance?
It's funny, during lulls like this, I often hear the refrain from this song in my head and since it is such a slow day I think I'll share the whole song, just for fun.
(In this case maybe we can insert album launch for upcoming nuptials - LOL)

My diggits are ready! ;D If it is no longer on the voting page then no there is nothing you can do. RCA is obviously gearing up for the next single. Past history indicates that RCA pulls one video even when the next won't be available for several weeks. I believe they like for there to be a break between one and the next. The video hasn't been having as much effect on sales the last few weekends so there is no pressing reason to keep it on there. Just get ready to vote for the new one when it comes out. |
