Chicago people, it might be a good idea to text 103.5 (KISSFM) about NCOE. Adam is getting a great name-check in their add for the Fantabuloso concert, but they are playing no music from him right now. All the artists are being played pretty heavily as the concert nears, and I have to think they will be spinning the song soon. It might not hurt to let them know there is interest.

LOLOLOL... YOU GUISE!!!!! On yesterday's thread gabby posted a blurb from Brian May's blog saying, "But, since the seats sold out instantaneously, we will be looking into the possibility of adding an extra show."And there were a couple of squees/WUTS, then.... nothin'. LOL    And I thought, WTF? WHERE *IS* EVERYBODY??!!! I think everyone is still shell-shocked over the cancellation of Sonisphere with the ensuing chaos and then the angst over Hammersmith tickets and the date changing for Moscow and just a black hole right now re. Kiev... and it's like "A third concert? Yeah, well, whatever.... GTFO Brian." : Then I was reading Brian's blog, and further down the page he says, "And today something very different … after many hours spent at the American Embassy in pursuit of a visa … very very very dull …."And I was like  . hmmmm... 8-) I am also so fucking tired of the whole ticketing thing! First, mindless enthusiasm for the concert Sonisphere, then landing on the bottom of the well, when the Sonisphere was canceled and then the mad enthusiasm when the London concerts announced ...... How is it possible that the Scalpers are able to purchase from pre-sale nearly all tickets! (Fortunately justgill got me tickets. It is the only light spot.) And now it is possible becoming third concert. And Scalper are again buying tickets ... I'm so nervous that I have not really been able to focus on Adam's new music, and that thing speaks volumes of my mind. I was thinking for the whole hustle, that I have to leave the 'adam things' for a while, because I'm all the time so angry and nervous due to the ticket office. ... Ash... this hotel reservation and withdrawal, and again, and to reserve flights and then transfer of flights (super high transfer fee) ....move my vacation, and I'll do it again..  Maybe tomorrow is a better day. |

I like Kris, but if I was in his position I wouldn't like to constantly remind the world that the guy who lost to me on American Idol is constantly out-doing me in every single way. |

Yeah I understand what you are saying but as a friend maybe Kris could give a shout out for Adam every now and then. I guess that's how I'm looking at it. Not a competitive thing...just friends supporting friends. |

I like Kris, but if I was in his position I wouldn't like to constantly remind the world that the guy who lost to me on American Idol is constantly out-doing me in every single way. I get that, but wouldn't it make him look better to be more gracious? Very, very few people outside of the AI bubble have a clue how well or not well they are doing in terms of sales and they really don't care. That first single of NAL's was a huge hit, right? He just looks selfish and threatened when he responds to a tweet like Adam's without so much as an acknowledgment of what Adam has going on right now. Okay, now back to trying to LET IT GO. Really. |

Awww. butterfly Bless your heart. It has indeed been very stressful for me, needacoke and justwishin as well. Our only silver lining is we haven't made plane reservations yet. I was in tears yesterday morning on the phone with justwishin. This morning needacoke sent me her CC statement to decipher...charge/credit, charge/credit, on and on. Hopefully, when the dust settles and all the tics are truly confirmed and all the hotels and flights are settled, we'll get back to feeling all the joy and excitement. I'm so looking forward to meeting you and many other Atopers in London!
