IKR?! It's supposed to be a Then and Now article and they use a 2 year old pic! And why a re-tread of the AMAs, but no mention that his second album is about to be released? A whole lotta "then" and no "now". #Peoplemagazinesucks Unfortunately, it is to remind peeps how bad he is. Notice what a nice pic they have of Kris and that he toured with Kieth Urban. Can't read the type of what was written, but the AMA's left a bad taste in many a mouth of mainstream press and it will haunt him until he becomes a bigger star like Carrie and Keeley, both squeeky clean. It is what it is and that is the impression they want to leave in mainstream America's mind. Whenever, I speak of Adam - responses, don't you know - oh he got arrested, oh he beat up papparazzi, oh don't forget the AMA's. Mainstream mags want to keep him as the "bad boy for mainstream America" and I think they are doing a fine job of it. Look at EW, always snark.

I have some questions regarding promo and such for those who follow these things 1) How far in advance do reviews of the album start coming in? Is it pretty close to the release date? 2) What other promo besides Kimmel and Idol do we expect Adam to get? We know there is a Rolling Stone article coming per Nile but I sure would like to see a whole lot more before May 15. (And not some out of date, recycled non-information like People just did!) I've been holding my breath waiting for the promo explosion to start. I'm hoping next week things will really ramp up. I'm doing a little experiment now with my family. Usually, I can't shut up about everything going on with Adam and they barely tolerate it : . So, I've been hanging back and just waiting to see if they bring him up first. I haven't mentioned NCOE as new single or any of the snippets. I just want to see if they hear any buzz that doesn't come from me. lol. So far, nothing but I'll keep y'all posted .

Totally OT. But I know there are Nightwish fans here. They will have a North American tour in the fall, and they will be all over the country. Tickets are cheap, $36 for San Francisco, for example, and they are already on sale: www.facebook.com/nightwish/app_103890722979364OMG thank you, I love them!!!! I definitely will go see them in SF! Interesting that they're playing some of the same venues that Adam did Thanks rihannasu! Other than using the mediabase forms, I usually call in my request and don't use FB or twitter. Do you recommend requesting only NCOE if I call in too or alternating between NCOE & BTIKM? My station KLLC is a HAC station. Pi, you can also text requests to Alice at 25423. I'm only requesting NCOE at this point. I think they've moved on from BTIKM, which is fine with me. They're spinning NCOE a lot!

Octavia Latrice @sincerlioctavia Reply Retweet Favorite · Open That moment: When u realize u've been jammin real hard 4 twelve hours, but haven't learned a dayum thing...blankstare #whataHOTALBUMdoes2meCan we assume that Adam is going to have back up singers for NCOE perhaps at his performance on Idol? Not sure about Idol, but from Ashley and Tommy's tweets, I'm guessing they're practicing for Kimmel at the moment.

So far, the promo for NCOE seems to be meandering, with no set course. RCA are fucking idyuts. Q102 saying that don't even have the song yet and they have to talk to RCA. hmmm.......says a lot.
I wanted a Katy Perry rollout. Same mgmt company but different labels.

Talks about how many records he sold and that he is one of the most successful Idols EVAH!!!!

AdisaMWhen you copy the url of the pic you cut out the "s" from the http in order to be embeded and then you highlight it and add the img code. p.twimg.com/Aq54nZjCQAA2qHp.jpg Thanks Gelly. Now back to page 5

Yes, they mention AMAs but not in an OMG!Scandal kind of way, just as a moment of his career history. People also had a nice feature article of Adam in December 2009 (Adam Lambert Bares All) and he was one of People's Most Beautiful People with a lovely photo and blurb in April 2010. So I'm really not sure what evidence you have that "mainstream mags want to keep him as the bad boy."
