Totally OT. But I know there are Nightwish fans here. They will have a North American tour in the fall, and they will be all over the country. Interesting that they're playing some of the same venues that Adam did  I had you in mind, I recalled you liked them when I posted about seeing them in Jan (and a few other peeps in SoCal). So far, the promo for NCOE seems to be meandering, with no set course. RCA are fucking idyuts. Q102 saying that don't even have the song yet and they have to talk to RCA. hmmm.......says a lot. I wanted a Katy Perry rollout. Same mgmt company but different labels. Q102 said they have spoken to the label and they are getting the song. Given that we have radio spins even before an adds date, a Kimmel appearance, multiple radio shows, and an Idol appearance coming up, I think it's a bit too soon to start the drumroll of doom and gloom. |

May I add that the song has been out for only 3 days! :-/ To us, Adam is huge. But for the general public and radio, he is no Katy Perry yet as far as instant plays and/or sales go! However, I am confident this album is a game changer. It is so damn good!

Personally, I'm not feeling anxious about promo just impatient!! Ever since I heard the snippets, I feel like I have jumping beans inside me. I just want to burst out and tell everyone within earshot to listen to this album. Really. It's been a struggle  . That's why I was wondering about when promo usually kicks in. I expect 2-3 weeks before the actual release, so we have some time still . |

It can take many months for a song to "make it" on radio. Trespassing is pop genius. As each song gets released, it builds on the last. When the album is released, much interest wil have been generated. Rolling Stone mag still loves him as evidenced by the latest issue with Adam in a prime pimp spot talking about his sophomore effort.
It's all good.
