Everyone has a right to their opinion and so do I.Thank goodness for scroll.I have a great deal of trouble with some Adam fans who see gloom around every corner. A new album that is fantastic in every way,New appearances Four gigs with Queen .. The beginning of a roll out for Trespassing. Oh and BTW Adam is going to sing songs from this album for the next two or three years. So for the pessimists among you, after three days of NCYE out and many snippets to hear, there is time for Trespassing to go global and be a hit.. like a couple of years. Breathe ..take a valium or a walk around the block, but please stop the march to doom and gloom over every little thing. To paraphrase: Adam has often said don't live my life live your own lives. You can hate me for saying this you can block me,you can write me off,but I just have to get this off my chest. Our job as fans is to supportAdam, buy his music and go to concerts. It's not to manage his career, his love life or pick his new piano player. So I'm off to do all of the above, breathe, take a valium and a walk. Just saying. Yay for you!! I just stopped by for few minutes because Twitter is laughing at the gloom and doom that resides here now days. Adam's life is in such a good place, why oh why do ppl search and search till they can find something to worry or complain about. Okay, see you in another few weeks if I'm feeling strong enough to withstand the doomsday scenarios. There are really very few people posting doom and gloom here and lots and lots of fun positive posts. "Accentuate the positive!"

Regarding the album roll-out debate about its promotion or perceived lack thereof, I see a different aspect than the one discussed here so far. Timing and quantity is certainly one aspect of the debate, but what I see RCA doing here is to go after promoting album quality and diversity over promotion over just one specific single....and that is an interesting approach, because it targets a different market. Many albums that come out these days have one or two lead tracks that are single material and then the rest of the album falls off from there. Too many in the industry (pop especially) have done that and it has eroded album sales interest because people can now just buy the track they want and so they do. Along comes Adam and throws down an album that as many have stated goes from one superb song to the next, and they are all different. No one song from the album is representative of the whole album, Trespassing or Cuckoo are as individual songs not representative of the whole album either. When I play the snippet youtube above, I might start dancing around to Trespassing and enjoy that it is so funky but it is after I have heard 3-4 completely different tracks that is when it usually hits me. Wow, this is totally amazing. This is a string of highlights like I have not heard on a pop album that I can remember and I want to scream that out into the world. I think the struggle for RCA is now find a way to market this message in a world that is single oriented and that is not easy. I was wondering for a while why Adam dumped so many snippets out at once, instead of spreading it out over time. I think he did it because they did not want us to get hung up on one song alone, but rather wanted us to sample the whole buffet and carry that message into the world and I think we should as fans get on that band-wagon too. Let's try to think of this less like a single promotion, and compare it to Ke$ha and Co. This is not one pearl, this is a string of pearls and you don't sell a string of pearls by cutting off the individual beads, at least you don't have to. I think it is a huge risk to market this way, because obviously the pop market and especially the radio market is not organized in this way, but it totally represents the album and ultimately multifaceted Adam. Have you noticed that usually we get Examiner and other such articles over everything related to Adam and even the usual entertainment news segments chime in. They have been strangely quiet this time around and reported on this throw- down of snippets less than they do over every haircut or sighting. I believe this is because they are just stunned. It's as simple as that. They are looking for the storyline and are overwhelmed. We all, fans, fan-sponsored press (Examiner and Co.) and eventually the official entertainment news programs will need to find a message and storyline to adequately tell. What Jimmy Kimmel shows me is that Adam's management is looking for opportunities where Adam can sing a small mini-concert on TV, rather than just one song. Let's start getting creative and think about how we can help market the album and its multitude of offerings and get that message out, rather than feel hopeless because the single promotion is not lined up with some expectation or idea we may have. How does Bruce Springsteen market what he sells. U2, etc...I know this is rock and not pop, but Adam has always crossed over and I believe his core market is not limited to pop anyhow, even though this totally is a pop album. But if someone is normally not a pop music lover and wants to own a few pop albums to add to their otherwise differently oriented music collection, this is the album they would want to get. Does this make any sense to anyone? It makes sense to me. From what I have heard from the snipperts, the album is brilliant. The question in my mind is m, "How does one get the public to sample the album". As you stated, it's not just one song from the album that represents it, it is a body of work. This music, this album needs to be heard. Adam has created a new sound. There is a new artist out there. Is the world ready to accept this new sound and this new artist. This is what music is all about. #No I ain't broken, but I need a fix #It's kicking in #Take me underground where freaks like us can meet

Maybe I'm crazy, but I haven't read any "doom and gloom" here in a long time. Mostly it is just people super excited about the amazing snippets and great new single that has tons of CHR potential.
These are exciting times; nothing gloomy that I can see.

I've been here most of the day and have seen nary a suicide pact underway, so I'm confused. I've seen people confused about Adam's rollout strategy, but I haven't seen anything that drastic. Also, Twitter peeps need to come play here. Just sitting on the sidelines observing and carping is not as fun. Also a wee bit chickenshit.

NZ friend of mine (@redbessred on twitter) made this!!! I think it's brilliant! Glam Bert and Saulnie ;D Those dolls are so cute but there is one physical feature of them that matches neither of the boys. I wonder nobody has already pointed it out JS Do you know what I'm talking about? They are adorable either way.

Okay, see you in another few weeks if I'm feeling strong enough to withstand the doomsday scenarios. I don't know, I could be wrong, but I thought everyone here was entitled to express their opinions, thoughts & concerns. Not everyone deals with their emotions and such in the same manner. I would be the last one to condemn anyone for just saying what they feel. I might not agree with what they say, but scroll is an easy thing to do in this case. The one thing I do agree with is we all have our own feelings. Everyone should be able to express that here. And, yes, some flack will come from it if it's not shared by the majority. That's a given, and allowed also. Some people are worriers. Some people are always optimistic. Some people are some of both. But, basically, we are all the same. We want what's best for Adam!! We all love him and want him to be successful. Personally, I take the good with the bad. If someone feels the need to express their worries, then so be it. It doesn't affect me. IMO, it might be better to reassure the person rather than jump all over them. I have seen the discussion on twitter and it saddens me. So much judgement there. Strange that they aren't brave enough to come here and say what they have to say. I hope I haven't crossed any lines here. I certainly didn't intend to. Ok, back to listening to the snippets!! PURE JOY, I TELL YA!!!!! PURE JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
