Gah. Bet he really *is* bringing back the Melvin.....that's usually what happens when he vanishes from sight for a wbhile. Who's got that vid with the 2 gals and the Melvin freakout? Which video do you mean? ??? I only remember this one where they talk about "Melvin" at 3.25! ;D |

I am listening to the YT compilation of all the Trespassing snippets. Yummy. Yummy. Yummy. I saw this comment: I have never bought an album in my entire life... and I'm 18 yrs old! Guess I was just waiting for that special one  Comments like this make me grin ear to ear and nod. Era #2 is gonna be awesome. , which YT are you listening to because I want to send the snippets to my eldest. |

Hope I'm not a Debbie Downer.
But I share the sentiments of someone on PULSE today who said:
"Hoping we are getting ADD date soon. RCA needs to push this song...GO RCA GO!!!!"
Yes, we can request. But that leaves it up to fans. and most dj's just ignore "the glamberts".
It would be so nice to know that RCA really had plans to push this song.
I will feel better when the song is getting ADDS on the big POP stations. Enough with the HAC.

I will feel better when the song is getting ADDS on the big POP stations. Enough with the HAC. Just a little information here, an ADD date is not required for the song to be played. Radio has the song and if they are waiting for label go ahead as Q102 said then they are part of a strategy. Not having an ADD date really means very little. Also there is absolutely no reason to believe that RCA will not push the single that is out at the time of album release. 90% of what a label does to push a song is never going to be known by the fans or the public so just because we don't know about it doesn't mean it isn't happening. I don't know of ANY company that publicizes their roll out strategy for a product. I have yet to figure out how us knowing what is going on in will in any way affect a songs trajectory as we don't need to know any of that to be able to do what we need to do which is to request the song. There are detailed instructions on this site and many others of when and where to request and no of that is dependent on knowing what the label is doing. Assuming they are doing nothing kind of defies logic considering they are a business with a product to sell. ETA: It's a little early to be worried about ADDS considering the song was only released this week and it already got an ADD from a top 40 station the day it was released to iTunes. |

I'm sure we'll here something soon. Just heard/read somewhere that it's up on All Access Top 40, HAC and Canada, as a hot pick, or new single, something like that. I'll give it till tomorrow or next week before we'll here something. It seems like RCA is pushing things behind the scenes. Someone made this comment on twitter a couple of days ago, that it seems that the radio stations are just jumping on playing NCOE, (the few that did already) without much fanfare from fans. Remember when BTIKM was announced, there was all of these polls, tricks, games, and hoops that they were making the fans go through to play the song. I haven't seen any of that, besides the standard trash or smash that radio do with just about all new singles. So just sit back and relax. We'll here something ~soon. ;D |
