@feraltwirler: The making of Adam Lambert's shady A little look at the behind the scenes of Shady in the studio using those short video clips Nile Rogers and Jean Morrrison gave us ages ago and the snippet of the track put together from iTunes samples. Cute! @feraltwirler @nilerodgers Hope you don't mind! I used your vid of you & Adam in studio w a snippet of Adam's track Shady & did this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-9mrCBdj6g&feature=youtu.be@nilerodgers @feraltwirler I watched you clip again. It def captures the mood in the studio with @adamlambert. You can tell we were having FUN!This is fun.. I love it.

A song can be submitted for nomination consideration by RCA but that is not a nomination. -- It is not nominated unless it is in the top 5 on the nomination ballot votes. That is why getting a Grammy nomination is a big deal. It is not just some small committee picking the nominees but the entire academy of voters. The Grammys are all over the board on the songs that get nominated. For example -- 2012 Song Of The YearRolling In The Deep (winner) and Grenade were both #1 on Billboard Hot 100 All Of The Lights – single #18 on Billboard Hot 100 The Cave #27 on Billboard Hot 100 Holocene – released as a single but did not make Billboard Hot 100 There are a lot of indie musicians and producers and songwriters who get to vote. True, but Adam isn't Indie, Alt. Rock, Folk or Rap/Hip Hop, etc. Songs in those type categories are given some leadway, where Pop songs really are expected to be at least somewhat successful. JMHO -- I think that Adam could have a song nominated that got critical acclaim but had somewhat modest sales. But I doubt he can win a Grammy without commercial success. Look at the history of Best Male Pop Vocal winners....there are hits and then there are these songs..... 2010 "Make It Mine" performed by Jason Mraz Did not make B Hot 100 2009 "Say" performed by John Mayer B Hot 100 #25 2007 "Waiting On The World To Change" performed by John Mayer B Hot 100 #14 2006 From the Bottom of My Heart performed by Stevie Wonder Did not make B Hot 100 2005 "Daughters" performed by John Mayer B Hot 100 #19 2003 "Your Body Is a Wonderland" performed by John Mayer B Hot 100 #18 2002 "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight" performed by James Taylor B Hot 100 #18 The same thing happens in every Grammy category.

I think Underneath would fit well here.
