Loving all the post's this morning, on my walk today I was thinking about how gracious Adam is towards people. I love his heart and who he is, so giving to friends, he really wants to share his own success.

I may be wrong, but I think guamgirl was asking for the demo from the songwriter that was posted a few months ago.

You know....when I read posts like those of cassie and AleksandraKv this morning, my love for this forum grows.
Illuminates the flaw in those random critical "fly-by" posts.
Ninety percent of the discussion on this board is positive....hell, even what some might consider unnecessary kvetching comes from a good place.
Okay, that said....
Those McEwan boys are adorable.
....and now I'm off to make my kale/celery/apple/ginger/spinach/ whatever else green I can find - elixir! Oh yes, I'm on-board the Adam Lambert/Sauli Koskinen juice train. ;D
HAPPY BIRTHDAY lanat, francis, flynnsgirl AND annelisa!!

Two days ago I got into an argument with one member of IF. He said that it is not right to do those experiments with such a great song (he hinted at making a song longer by repeating a chorus and sticking of random parts we got from snippets together), because he considers it to be a 'vandalism'. I disagreed with him on this, because IMHO the person who edited Underneath to a longer version did nothing bad. I personally think that this kind of 'modification' can't harm anybody. Jeez, I love Adam but am I a bad fan when after about two long years of waiting I embrace all available versions, even those created by fans? ETA: Running away from here for a few hours to study for my exam and follow the rule #3 from Aleksandra KV's Charter I think it only becomes a problem when pieced together snippets are labeled and circulated as if they are the complete finished song. I have a problem with them being misrepresented not with the creation of them in the first place. This is a really interesting discussion. I tend to be a Song Purist and always hate it when someone changes up a song I love (me, whining, "but it doesn't GO LIKE THAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!! ) I don't even much like it when ADAM changes up a song of his that I love, that's how bad it is. I'm wondering if it's a generational thing? I don't even remember remixes back in the day; it would have been viewed as plagerism and a lack of real talent, at least in my little circle of stoners, and I tend to still react that way. But that was before technology made it possible for anyone to play around with the music and creativity is almost always a good thing. So I'm in agreement with both you that as long as the original is credited, it's not a bad thing. Of course I'll probably still bitch about it. P.S. Good luck on your exam, Ame!

Underneath in the form presented on the thread today satisfies a need that can only be filled until May 15. I don't know how the person put together that version but I thank her/him for it. I love all the snippits but having them cut off abruptly is like having a climax cut short.
Long live Atop and all the genius work put forth. Cassie and AleksandraKV hit the nail on the head today.
