Sorry, really stupid question here... I've finally gotten around to upgrading my order from AO--I want to upgrade from the regular to the deluxe CD. What do I do? In the email I received from AO, there was no option to simply upgrade to the Deluxe CD--only options to upgrade to the Box Set or the CD/DVD fan edition. I know it makes me seem questionable, but I'm not really interested in buying the DVD--just want the Deluxe album. Does anyone have any advice on what to do so I don't end up with a double order? Did you use the link in the email? That took me directly to the upgrades and it had all my info already there. Hmm, good question. Thought I did but while it did take me to upgrades (at least the fancier ones I mentioned--not the deluxe) it didn't seem to have my info yet. Let me hunt around my email a bit... (thanks for the help!) ETA: yeah, see, I checked, and the only links to direct-upgrade are for the fan edition (CD+DVD) and the Box Set (and the sold out limited edition thing). Nothing for a pure Deluxe Album up grade. :-/ Sorry, I know, I'm being incredibly boring with these questions...

Why? US is the biggest market. I didn't say that the US is unimportant.. just that I think that RCA has really put some effort into the promo this time around. Made some missteps, but are putting time and $$ behind it. Now its up to the PDs. For me radio = units sold, if the material is good, which it is. I think there have been many prejudices for a whole host of reasons (we've discussed them all). At this point, whatever will happen, will happen. Now I am more interested in what happens outside.. because the outside could influence the US. The US is the largest single market, but the UK, Japan, Germany and France combined equal the US. Toss Canada on top and the combined total surpasses the US. So... yeah.. I'm looking beyond our borders. Japan is almost equal to the US in size. The entire EU is a bit larger mostly because of Germany, UK and France. From the IFPI 2012 report.... In the global rankings, the U.S. retained the top position with sales remaining flat in value terms totaling $4.37 billion. Japan, the second biggest global music market, recorded a 7% decline in trade revenues, falling from to $4.39 billion in 2010 to $4.09 billion. Germany is once again has the world's number three music market, posting flat results, with revenues totaling $1.47 billion in 2011. The United Kingdom, which slipped behind Germany in last year's world rankings last year, remains at number four, with recorded music revenues totaling $1.43 billion, a 3.1% fall on 2010's total of $1.48 billion. France is at number five with recorded music sales totally just over $1 billion. They are clearly working on a global release and promo for Trespassing. That said, the US will almost certainly be 60%+ of Adam's sales of Trespassing -- Canada should be another 10%..

This video is for San Diego Glamberts who went to the evening Radio Promo. @ 2:10 is a must see. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPxikfRwsCw I didn't even know my friend was secretly taping one song, Cuckoo, using the top of my chair as a camera support. The video is shaky because I was shaking my body. ( This radio station told us not to video tape. They were supposed to tape everything & upload it to their site, but whatever the reason, their professional photographer bailed on taping at the last minute. :-/ Too bad because he sounded great (as usual) with no mic. ) What a great video! Thank you!

Is this normal? I'm curious...has this happened to other acts as well when a demand is so prominent they just keep adding on? This is the fourth expansion of tickets and I believe is unprecedented. They usually do not sell out. So happy to hear that.. and to think there was some concern when it didn't sell out right away.. ;D

Yes, I think for a huge number of people Adam IS new. I was just thinking the other day that the only reason I ever heard of Adam was because he made headlines with the AMAs. I had to see what some "American Idol kid" had done that was "lewd." I couldn't imagine. I never thought someone on that show had anything to offer me. I figured all the acts on that show were square and manufactured. I loved him and within a few months was hooked on him. I still don't think he's made a big splash in the public mind outside the Idol bubble. I don't see any comeback -- you can't come back to something you never had. I see building on his passionate fan base to expand his audience to another level. I'm excited. People want good, authentic music. It's happening!!! I am forever grateful for the GIFT of the AMA "gate" ;D ...what IS the Idol bubble? I know we talk about it a lot, but I am not sure I understand what people mean by it... How are the people that watch AI different from people who do not? All that is needed is that SOMEONE buys the music. How they got to buying it, or how they are labeled is totally irrelevant. The fact is that Adam does have a core backbone of money spending fans that cannot be ignored by the label. Some are the Idol fans that support many AI alums, some are the Idol casual watchers that got hooked on Adam and bought only his music (like me), some are the AMA converts, some are radio listeners... as time goes by and promotion does its magic - there will be more and more people appreciating his art. There will always be poor souls who will reject him for various reasons... like with everyone else...I also think that the name "Adam Lambert" is "known" to the public at large - may be not his music, but the make up for sure... it is not a bad start. I know WE want world domination for him...I don't know if that's what Adam wants... I know he wants enough success as to continue recording and performing. I am sure that he will have that for years to come. ... getting late and I am not sure where I am going with all this... that video is AWESOME! THANK YOU, realkittychan !
