I'm sorry to be a downer, but don't we want top 40 adds here in the US? If he only gets HAC adds once again, won't we have the same scenario we had with BTIKM? I want to see him get top 40 adds here, not just in Canada. What will it take? I don't know, I'm just frustrated that radio is such a struggle for Adam.

I'm a teense worried, but not too much as an official adds date hasn't even been announced yet.
These are just stations jumping the gun. :-)

On Yes I can see 4-5 new Top40 and HAC stations starting to spin in the last 2 days. Also several Top40 IHeartRadio Stations are playing it online as contests for tickets for their Spring Concerts. Hopefully, when the contests are over, they will play it for real. |

And supposedly this is the song radio picked. But, there is no need to panic until we at least get an adds date. Just looked around All Access and Pulse and couldn't find one. I can't complain cause my HAC station in Dallas has been promoting the HELL out of NCOE. It's frequently in their tweets. Top 40 stations here, not a word. I keep thinking that radio WANTS Adam to be an HAC artist and that it has a lot to do with what they feel is Adam's demographic, older females. That is a stigma when it comes to Top 40 radio. |

Wasn't WWFM played on top40 in order to be as successful as it was? If they played WWFM, why wouldn't they play NCOE?

The song was just sent to radio barely a week ago, there is no add date yet, IMO it's too early to predict ANYTHING right now, but several stations on both top 40 and HAC showing interest (including ones in Canada that ignored BTIKM) looks like it might be promising. Also, you can't ignore that stations only have limited slots to add new songs each week and this was Payphone's week to grab most of them. It would have been a bad time to have an adds date for other songs possibly.
Since the song is so fresh it is a great time to push requests and write-ins though.

Does it play any major role? Cause stations can add and spin the song like right now. Nothing stops them from doing it. Still I should acknowledge that 5/29 date confuses me a lot. Usually singers have a week or two between digital release of a song and radio release. |
