Deja vu all over again. I have the same feelings!!!!!!!!! What benefits are for the AOL sessions? WHo is the main target for these series? Does these sessions pick up new fans or are they to bring awareness to the new CD??? I thought that's what the MV vid's are for. |

Rihannsu, how do you manage to get the top 200 on iTunes? Everything I do only gets me the top 100 :( The itunes store gives you the top 200, but I can't get more than 100 on the feed links either. If you open iTunes, go to the store and click on see all in the list of top songs it give you the top 200. You can use the drop down menu under music at the top to go to the different genres. Since he said he is filming the music video this week it seems to me that having the CHR impact date set at 5/29 is to coordinate with impact of the video release. He's got all those radio concerts right after the album release and it looks as if the MV will release right around then as well so it could be that they are letting HAC build now, which it is BTW and may have the CHR stations lined up to add right around album drop. I hope my comment didn't sound too negative. I just admit to being surprised (and not in a good way LOL) that there was no bump after Kimmel. In fact NCOE slid back a few spots. I didn't realize that these late night shows don't usually give an iTunes bump. Guess I gotta lower my expectations. :D

There are hundreds of artists who do these AOL sessions, from Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Adele to country acts. music.aol.com/sessions/These sessions are simply part of an overall marketing approach in getting the music out to the general public. For the records,  Stefano's new song he performed on AI this past week is still at #44 this morning. |
