As always that Pop Crush poll needs no help --- currently: Adam Lambert, 'Never Close Our Eyes' 85.64% The Wanted, 'Chasing the Sun' 4.46% Stefano Langone, 'I'm on a Roll' Feat. New Boyz + Rock Mafia 0.99% John Mayer, 'Shadow Days' 0.5% Havana Brown, 'We Run the Night' Feat. Pitbull 8.42% I will post it on page one in the morning. But this time, I am going to be trying to focus our efforts on the votes that really make a difference. That is, things that will generate airplay and adds. MY SUGGESTION FOR TODAY -- IF YOU HAVE NOT SENT A MEDIABASE REQUEST IN TO YOUR LOCAL STATIONS THIS WEEK FOR NCOE -- PLEASE DO IT. Link to a complete US list of target stations is here -- LOCAL ONLY: tinyurl.com/PlayALambertCOPY AND PASTE LINK INTO BROWSER. Sorry but there is an extra space in the long link I cannot remove easily.

If a song is added to a station, do we request 2-3 times a week, or can we request every day on the mediabase form?

Respectfully, I disagree that any song on Trespassing not written by Adam is subpar. Loyalty to Adam is wonderful, but realistically, other writers also write wonderful songs. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. IMO, WWFM, written by Pink, became Adam's song, became his own words, his own voice, and became quite successful. *Grammy nom* I hear NCOE as very much Adam. I guess it irks me to read that only Adam-written songs are worthy to be sung by him or be on his album. I just don't believe he feels this way either. Off my soap box now. 8-) Do you have room on that soap box because yeppers to this.

I guess it irks me to read that only Adam-written songs are worthy to be sung by him or be on his album. I just don't believe he feels this way either. Off my soap box now. 8-) I've never said any song Adam hasn't written on "Trespassing" or FYE is subpar, but going strictly by what resonates with me almost three years later from FYE (after traveling through thick, thin and hearing ever version known to man during GNT), the songs that I still love the best are "Down the Rabbit Hole," "Voodoo," "Soaked," "FYE," and "Broken Open." Of course, Soaked and FYE were not written by Adam and the others were. I have actually never really cared for "Pick You Up," (though others love it) despite it being written by Adam and Weezer (who I have tremendous respect for). I never really cared for "Aftermath" until it was performed live. I'm going purely from visceral reaction to the songs when I decide which I LOVE and what I only like on "Trespassing." I LOVE pretty much all the songs Adam wrote on AND "Underneath." I enjoy BTIKM and Naked Love, but don't feel that certain something – that je ne sais quoi – that I do get from Adam's songs. I did not think NCOE was a great song initially, but felt Adam could sing the shit out of it. He does. With the new production, I pretty much love it right now. This is not loyalty, but just expression exactly how the songs resonate with me. I like songs that are about something or that tell a story or evoke emotion or imagery. This is where I generally find NCOE not as strong as the others, but the energy and incredible vocal make up for it.
