The single is already out. It's on i-Tunes and radio has it. They can play it as soon as they want. The impact date is not the same as a song coming out. That being said, I am also confused by why it is such a late date. RCA does everything differently with Adam. ??? Pardon my ignorance about radio biz, but is ADD DATE the same as IMPACT DATE? thx. yes!

I don't think anyone should stress about the single having an add date after the album release date. I remember when Adele's album was released, no one really talked about it for a while. Then Rolling in the Deep started getting played everywhere and album sales went way up and stayed way up. So I'm guessing that RCA is indeed going for a long-term game plan here, and hopes that a later add date will keep sales of the record up well past the release date.

May I suggest everyone right-click-save this gif and just substitute it for the name "RCA" in all future posts? Maybe we could have it in a variety of sizes. Reihmer??? How about a really little size so we can just insert it into any sentence that includes RCA.? LOL

??? ??? Noreaster, I couldn't find that category anywhere. However, there was a cute sentence about Adam: It’s Queen week! Brian May and Roger Taylor (pictured, right, with May) will be in attendance, and while rumors of Adam Lambert’s no-brainer appearance have been dismissed by insiders, we fully expect him to descend from the rafters wearing something fabulous. Best advice to the final six: Avoid singing “Another One Bites the Dust” — it's not the best ditty to have to reprise as a farewell.

There is just so much good material on this album that could propel long term sales.

I like the Fault photos but I would rather not look at Adam though a fish-eye type lens or see his features totally washed out. I'd love to see the original photos from this shoot. I also don't understand why photographers flip Adam's photo. It changes his face completely. Drives me nuts!!! It especially surprises me when Lee Cherry does it because he knows Adam's face so well and he knows we, the fans, know Adam's face so well that we would notice it. I made a few adjustments to this photo, too.

I just sent an email to "Live with Kelly" and thanked them for playing NCOE and suggested they have Adam as a co-host. Hope that's not being to forward of me. I don't want to come across as a crazed Adam fan (of which I am). Sometimes I think RCA sat down with Adam before this rollout and they were all talking about needing a Shoshanna equivalent here in the U.S. Then someone pointed out that there was absolutely no way that any PR person could do any better than this fandom already does (see above), and that it would actually be somewhat disheartening..."Hello, I'm Adam Lambert's PR person, and I want to tell you about his new collab!" "We already know." "Hello, I'm Adam Lambert's PR person...did you know he's performing with Queen?" "That news was DAYS ago." So they decided to hell with it and to hire backup singers, instead!
