Herm...sorry, got distracted there? What's the question? How far back do I need to read? [looks up] The CONCERT thread!! I was trying to get you guys to read the CONCERT thread. [grins] I mean I *do* want y'all to read numbers too, but the GB doesn't usually make an appearence there! [grins wider] Except for the time Linda was using that London pic to make geometric calculations!!  I'm pretty sure there were several formulas 'n everything. ;D ETA: After that putting an apple pie on the main thread was the "bat signal" to look for new GB pics....  |

Thanks for the apple pie explanation. I've always wondered about that. I wasn't as regular a reader back then and missed that night.

Yep, that was an Elvis 'do on Idol. Hey, this reminds me of savvy's story about peeps who contacted her after GNAFL's AI performance-- two of my friends who like Adam, but don't folllow him, saw him Th. night--one called that night, flailing (he's beautifly, that voice, tose lyrics) and one called today saying same things, but added how MUCH he looked like Elvis that night. Both asked does he have anything for sale right now...ummm, YEP!  |

Errmm, color me confuzzled again. If he's gonna fit in a pie, he would have to be teeny tiny GNAFL, no? Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, or in your purse, or pocket. You could play with him any time you wanted then. Hmmm. Now this probably puts me in bsc territory, but I've often wished I had a pocket Adam, sort of like a talisman, that I could keep in the pocket of my jeans and rub (like a worry stone) when I needed to. Kinda like an Adam binky. hmmm...that sounds weird, but I'm hitting submit anyway |

SPRING FORWARD TONIGHT ALMOST EVERYONE OMG, I meant to look that up today cause I heard it was earlier than it used to be...oh, noes, I don't want to lose an hour! I take it that means Central time DOES change tonight, right? Thanks so much for the kind words everyone. Roger thought that was a "throwaway" poem (his published poems are much "deeper") but even though he'd say that one "ain't that deep" it's deep to me. Without friendship and good memories, there'd be no point. I liked it, too. Thx |

Thanks peeps for all the lovely thoughts. I knew I would feel much better coming to this warm and safe place.
Goodnight since we are losing an hour, but it does feel good to say, "spring forward". Could never get used to the cold weather having been raised in the tropics.
