Butterfly, did not see yr post but just tuned in YleX again, lovely!!!!! Did you hear how they annouced it? They said that "many, many have hoped for Adam Lambert's new Never Close Our Eyes. And here it is ..." I was so tense that my fingers went to the node, when I tried to write quickly: Now it is played... Finally, they said: "This was the whole Finnish-in-law's son, Adam Lambert".

www.theprophetblog.net/adam-lambert-performs-trespassing-mini-concert-on-jimmy-kimmelADAM LAMBERT PERFORMS ‘TRESPASSING’ MINI-CONCERT ON JIMMY KIMMEL Adam Lambert teased his upcoming sophomore album Trespassing this week by performing a five-song mini-concert of songs from the record on Jimmy Kimmel. The performances included his new electro-pop single “Never Close Our Eyes”, which is on iTunes now, but still isn’t due at mainstream radio for another month. Glambert must really be super pumped about his new album, because he was queening out on stage and giving us more diva than ever before. It was a little Las Vegas cabaret in parts, but overall he killed it with great vocals and a lot of confidence. Lord knows that these days it’s refreshing to see a pop star who can actually sing an entire song live and still slay. One of the songs Adam performed, “Naked Love”, was a Benny Blanco / Shellback production that sampled Crystal Waters’ hit “100% Pure Love”. It’s really catchy and upbeat, and reminded me a lot of Katy Perry mixed with Madonna. Then there was the Pharrell Williams penned & produced “Trespassing”, which showed off Glambert’s funkier side.I’m gonna w!%#e the s*&t outta this album when it drops next month!VIDEOS

No disrespect meant to those going to all the Queen events but after last night and hearing Adam's new stuff, I just want to hear him promote his songs. What I've heard so far sounds so current and exciting -- wouldn't it be great if Queen would sneak an Adam song into their set?! I would be very pleased with this but do not expect it. The Queen concerts will be Queen featuring Adam Lambert -- and as an Adam + Queen fan, I am looking forward to seeing what Adam can do with this classic music. For me it is like getting to see Yo-yo Ma playing The Divertimento in E flat, K. 563, written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. A brilliant musician-entertain interpreting classic music in his own style. Thankfully, looks like we will get a lot of opportunities to see both Adam doing his own music and to see Queenbert. That means I get to have my cake (Queenbert) and eat it too (pure unadulterated Adam Lambert in concert!) Yes. I think it's wonderful that Adam is doing some shows with Queen. I would never, never begrudge him that opportunity and the opportunity to introduce him to potential new fans. It really is not just about us and our wants, after all. 8-) Must add that I absolutely LOVE his new "divas." love their singing, love their attitude and enthusiasm.

I was listening the same song from YT and checking in YleX when NCOE was halfway through... If they said "many, many have hoped for..." I think we have our international friends to thank for help! Now off to spend friday evening with friends, have a nice time all!

One more thought before I enter the blandness of RL: I am TIRED of reading glowing reviews. I am TIRED of hearing berts bert! I want to hear this praise in the way of radio spinning it 24/7 and new fans jumping to the beat as if they were there from the beginning. Americans are ingrained with the need for justice. I want justice! All you want for/from Adam is Justice and Sex. Those sound like reasonable requests. I can jump on that bandwagon.

What I've heard so far sounds so current and exciting -- wouldn't it be great if Queen would sneak an Adam song into their set?! Ha, pretty sure it isn't going to happen with Queen. My take on the Adam/Queen collab is that Adam is not like other pop stars, he is aiming for an international audience, fighting for every advance he makes, and hoping for longevity in a business that uses artists like tissues. Working with Queen gains him some credibility with a huge segment of the more traditional music lovers. I don't know what to say about getting radio to play his music, but personally he seems to be handling both aspects of his career very well.
