3 years ago I was very interested in Adam's vocal range. But in the intervening years I have learned from listening to Adam that the frequency of the notes is not that important. What makes Adam's voice so different and so powerful to me goes beyond vocal range -- it is the way he uses his voice to express emotion -- and how quickly he can transition through a range of emotions. Totally agree with you. I have often wondered why there is such an emphasis on his range. Yes, it is remarkable, but it is by far, not the most incredible thing about his voice. It is his masterful interpretation, his ability to shape the sound of his voice and color it so many different ways, his breath control that supports the long, lyrical phrases, the belts, and the tender caresses, the purity and clarity of his tone.... if he had only a two octave range but had all those other characteristics in his singing I would be just as blown away. Spoken less eloquently... you don't have to strain your voice or grunt out a tune to demonstrate depth and emotion.

illuxxia Sauli's closed body language is a little interesting. I wonder if it is going to take him a little time to get used to Adam's screaming fans? (yes, I know he is a celeb in Finland)

I've listened Broken English now enought times to argue, that after turning to the band first time, Adam starts singin too early. .....

Yup. I do agree. Plus, their voices sound different from Adam's so that, as opposed to the backing vocal tracks from GNT, Adam's voice can be heard distinctly in front of theirs. I like it! Just to say, there was indeed a vocal backing track, on Broken English. And re: his range, I've noticed that on Trespassing there seems to be a lot less of the big "glory" notes but the music and the voice just sound so much better!

Wow -- Adam KILLED it on Jimmy Kimmel last night! He looked amazing on my big screen TV, and all the other songs were amazing. Broken English--who knew, indeed? It was sexy, hot, compelling, beautiful, haunting, etc.... What an amazing start to this era. I think that this next tour is truly going to be epic! And of course he looked so happy--it must be so empowering to finally be doing so much music you wrote, you shaped and you truly love (and of course being happy doesn't hurt).
BTW, I didn't hear any backing tracks either, and I think that having the divas and Brian as back up are a fabulous addition. As a singer, it is really freeing to have live back-up because it lets you go places you can't go with tracks--and we know how Adam likes to "take it to church"! AMEN!!!

I haven't read all of the threads, but is that really the bridge of Naked Love? Love it, but it is definitely from Crystal Water's 100% Pure Love. Definitely a 90's sounding song.

Well, Kimmel was amazing and a nice start. And this is the first time I have really loved Naked Love. It could be a single; I hope that's the recorded bridge.
When do you think we will start hearing about what's planned for Adam's drop week promo? Carrie's schedule is out, and it looks massive (of course, it is Carrie Underwood. I'm not expecting anythingquite like that, I would be happy with about half her stuff). Maybe late next week?
