There was a screen cap of "glowing-eye-Adam" from beginning of NCOE, can someone please repost here? Thanks in advance! :-) I'm gonna send it to my sister-in-law who's a classically trained Opera singer and is totally in love with his eyes, and his voice!!

Forgot to mention that I moved to the back right before Adam came out. We were literally being crushed in the area I was in and I couldn't even move my arms. And I wanted to dance my ass off! Which I did! Anyway, the point of this post is to say, I got a real surprise when I moved. 1st) I saw where the family all was. and 2nd) The back was LOADED WITH YOUNG GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (Neil's girlfriend, btw, is adorable. She danced her ass off for every single song. She was trying to get Neil to dance too, but he was being much more conservative. She was dancing like she was in a club after several shots!) here it is, she also basically "dittoed" NoAngel's post that is on the Kimmel thread. |

3 years ago I was very interested in Adam's vocal range. But in the intervening years I have learned from listening to Adam that the frequency of the notes is not that important. What makes Adam's voice so different and so powerful to me goes beyond vocal range -- it is the way he uses his voice to express emotion -- and how quickly he can transition through a range of emotions. Totally agree with you. I have often wondered why there is such an emphasis on his range. Yes, it is remarkable, but it is by far, not the most incredible thing about his voice. It is his masterful interpretation, his ability to shape the sound of his voice and color it so many different ways, his breath control that supports the long, lyrical phrases, the belts, and the tender caresses, the purity and clarity of his tone.... if he had only a two octave range but had all those other characteristics in his singing I would be just as blown away. |

I slept all through the excitement last night and am left with the - very yummy - leftovers. Trying to find my way through it all and enjoying the hell out of it (don't tell my boss I spent the day sneaking peeks ;-))
