@yo_RANDYJACKSON  Thanks Randy!!!  So, I would say Adam is up early to pick out people from the auditions for his video! How fun!  Typical Randy, took him four days to get around to commenting on Kimmel. I remember how he was at the LA GNT shows because Alison's band was opening and he commented on twitter about them but said nothing about Adam himself until fans pestered him about why he hadn't said anything. |

Adam has been on OUT's list before, hasn't he? Maybe it is because to the rest of the world, this past year has been sort of quiet. Although, frankly, they should know and have put him on this year's list! No this is the Power List which I don't think he has been on. He's been on the Hot or Sexy list. The Out 100 is mainly about popularity and attractiveness but the Power 50 is about influence and power. It really galls me that they can't seem to see the influence Adam is having on the media, the culture and on LGBTQ as well as straight people. Thanks for the info and I Totally Agree with You! |

Yeah, typical Randy. I hope that TPTB get a copy of Trespassing to the Idol judges on the 15th so perhaps,(and I know I'm dreaming here) if they get around to listening to it, one of them comments on the 17th about how fantastic the new album is. I can picture Randy saying something about lovin the "funk" track with Nile Rodgers.

I understand the list is odd and I also get your point about Anderson. This list is just ridiculous! How can a bully like Perez Hilton be on it? Or for that matter, how can a closeted person like Anderson Cooper be one of the most influential gays? WTF! I did not vote but I did leave a comment without using Adam's name in it. I don't think the comments from non-readers all mentioning Adam will do him any favors. (My opinion only.) I did however make a comment about Perez and Anderson being on that list! Just to defend AC being on the list --- he is not "closeted" -- He’s been photographed with longtime boyfriend Benjamin Maisani many times and has never posed as a straight man -- he just has not "come out'. To me there is a difference between denying being gay (Clay Aiken, Ricky Martin, etc.) and not being on the cover of PEOPLE under the banner "I'm gay." Anderson keeps most of his private life very private -- like most people have no idea who rich he really is. Since he has never pretended to be hetro -- how can he come out? JMHO but I hope I live long enough that sexual orientation is a bit like eye color -- something that you can know but that tells you very little about the person. Yes, I know I am dreaming but the whole gay-straight-bi categories seem to be a bit too narrow to describe many of the people I know. Like eye color -- there is infinite variety. What are you if you eyes are greenish with gold centers? Hazel eyed? It's a shame that Adam wasn't accorded the same courtesy to be allowed to keep his private life private, instead of being hounded by Perez, etc....(and criticized for not coming out while on AI). Why do you think Anderson has been given a pass ? : |

Yes, OUT described the people on the power list as "a few exemplary individuals (who) manage to influence the way others live -- either through their public personas, politics, or wealth -- and affect cultural and social attitudes."

Do you think it just coincidence that "the Voice" featured, celebrated and promoted gay contestants and touted their show as being superior to idol, only AFTER Adam Lambert was on AI and so well received.
I don't know who I am talking to here! LOL. But the more you guys talk about his name not appearing on the list the madder I get. I bet if Levine were gay he would be on their list.

What I thought was so incredibly ridiculous about Perez's part in the whole thing was that here we had picks of Adam with his tongue down Brad's throat all over the internet and Perez was hounding Adam about not "coming out" yet BEFORE Rolling Stone released when the pictures of Adam holding hands with Drake leaving the nightclub came out Perez made a dramatic "Oh now he's out" post on his website. So in other words tongue kissing guys doesn't prove you are gay but holding hands does.

I love the post apocalyptic vibe of the video. I hope it'll have a Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome feel to it.  Can't you just imagine Adam in something like this by Gareth Pugh:  I'm pretty sure the video will have a burning man vibe to it. ETA: ame I think artists usually release 3-4 singles. But Q3 would know best. OH GOD! Yes please!!! WOW, interesting thought angelkrash!!! |
