All I'm saying is there are a ton of other VERY talented musicians, singers and arrangers involved in these performances. The background singers sound good because they are professionals who have had years upon years of training and also had experience singing for and touring with a Grammy winning artist. Adam is great at what he does, but he didn't walk in and suddenly make these two women, who have countless years of experience, "sound good". That seems dismissive to these two talented vocalists. Not to mention, Brian London who worked with these two ladies before Adam ever entered the building. Brian must be pretty good at what he does, or the BIG names like Bruno, Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry wouldn't have used him. Adam is lucky to have him! Adam didn't make them who they are in two days anymore than he made Sasha a great dancer. She came in being an amazing dancer and excelled before and after the tour. There are other people who are talented outside of Adam. So Adam adds nothing to the equation? Anyone could have put this particular group together, and it would have come together just as beautifully had any singer paying their salaries just walked in and sang? I think there's a middle ground here. I agree with you whatfun ... why would everyone be so excited to work with Adam if he wasn't such a very important part of the equation? Adam inspires those around him to do their very best, and reach for the stars ... even Sasha has said she gained much confidence from him, possibly why she was more successful on SYTYCD this time around?

I really like this point Cassie made on the last page of the previous thread! I hope you dont mind, Cassie, that I quoted some of it here: **** My guess? They sound good because Adam is a perfectionist, a pro, and has a great work ethic and reputation. Remember on Majors and Minors when he talked about attitude with the kids? Said you needed to network and be nice because someone might know someone who might know...? I think it starts with Adam having these deep connections to the performing world in LA. Look at all the talented people he knew from the Zodiac group who have contributed in some way. Or others who have been referred to Adam by one of his connections. If he needs backing singers he doesn't have to do a blind casting call. He can get recommendations or tap resources to get the voices, the look and the attitude he wants. I'm not sure how much of this has to do with Adam and his connections or his direction. Neil suggested these two ladies. They are Jill Scott's back-up singers. It's not like they haven't been involved in a professional setting before. Plus, Adam has a musical director who has worked with the BIG names in the business. He knows what he is doing. Adam has "people" that do things like musical arrangements, choreography, costuming, etc. I'm sure some of these aspects he has input, but most of the musical arrangements are left to those who are playing the instruments or the musical director. The musical director, band and background singers worked on music for several days without Adam. IA that Brian London, Octavia and Keisha, and the rest of the band are all very talented and don't need Adam's input to be great but I think Cassie still has a point that Adam's connections were a valuable part of getting these talented people on his team. Adam and Brian know each other from the Zodiac show and it was Brian (not Neil) who brought in Octavia and Keisha. Brian's bio from Zodiac show: www.thezodiacshow.com/bios.swfOctavia's tweet: @sincerlioctavia How do you became Adam's backround singer? xx 11:33 AM - 29 Apr 12 via web · Details Octavia Latrice Octavia Latrice @sincerlioctavia @lambertfanpage Adam's musical director @brianlondon brought me in.

I do like the background singers. They are really good singers. Adam's 2 era is different then the last one. This time Adam have different type of music , different setup band and is interesting how everything work for him just fine. cassie I like you posts. Many things I don't know but because your knowledge I learn something new and I appreciate you for that
