Is it too OT to be laughing because it turns out that on this board, more people say they are offended by being called ma'am than being called a vajajay. ;D Absolutely not! I am one of those offended if called ma'am, but vajajay makes me laugh. I instantly remembered the WWFM Parody Key of Awesome, where the guy sang Lady Gaga's vajajay. I always thought that's funny.  |

here's my 2 cents on the vajayjays...when adam introduced them on the livestream, the sound wasn't that great and I heard it as the "DIVAjayjays" which I thought was a pretty cute twist.
I think plain old Vajayjays falls a little flat so I'm going to keep on thinking of them as the Divajayjays. 8-)

I'm probably a bit late to the vajayjay conversation, but it really is different strokes for different folks. When I first heard Adam introduce them as that I literally...  and thought OMFG that's PERFECT! and so very Adam ;D Yes, I got the throwback to Motown names, but essentially it is a very gay sense of humour. I spent my late teens/early twenties living in gay nightclubs and flatting with some seriously screechy OTT queens. Much of their humour is about taking the piss and emphasizing the ridiculous - being OTT is what they do. Calling each other a ~queen was normal and I was proud to be an honorary one  Honey, I could screech, flap my wrists, roll ma eyes with the best of em. Honestly, in Adam's mind and to the group, I don't think calling them the Vajayjays is actually all that deep - just delicious, snarky, campy humour. Just a laugh. I, for one j'adore it ;D |

Watching Adam sing this song reminds me of Katrina on the Voice last night singing "Killing Me Softly With His Song." If I knew how to imbed videos I would find Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly" and play it for you. It just reminds me of how Adam makes me feel when he sings. You read my mind! I was thinking yesterday how Adam's singing on Underneath reminded me of this BEAUTIFUL song! Vajayjay, shmajayjay if they are cool with it and he is cool with it I am cool with it. And the girls don't strike me a wall flowers so am sure if they weren't cool with it they would let him know. So not sure what all the fuss is about. Agree with earlier posters that if the penis is fair game not sure why the vagina should be sacred. And after all is not like he coined the term :-) YMMV
