Guys I just went to check how long it took for radiostations to Add Kelly's song "Stronger" - which i think? became a number one hit in the US or has done really well at least. Well look here her song came out on 1 november or before (first add was 11/1) For the next TWO MONTHS she only got fifteen adds And of course there were lots of days in that period where she got no adds! and nine of them were in Canada. So if im reading this right...RELAX! When did adam release NCOE? 11 April. And he already has 15 adds in two weeks. This is GOOD. ;D ETA: if you want to check this for your self I went to this link for Adam and then searched for stronger. addboard.mediabase.com/SongAddHistory.asp?startdate=&ob=4The reason it lists Stronger as Nov 1st is because the album came out a few weeks before and of course the song is on the album. It was so popular, that it got a ton of downloads and some stations just started to play it. The official single, at that time, was still Mr Know It All. Stronger went for adds, in January, 2 weeks before Adam's Top 40 date for BTIKM. Kelly's song had 118 adds before her add date. But, please refer to my "don't panic" post a few pages back.  , you are Gandalf of the radio waves! You and Q3. Who would be Gandalf the Grey and who Gandalf the White, I wonder, out of the two of you? Joking aside, I just wanted to say I really appreciate the radio info. I thought it surpassed my mental abilities, but reading here about it, your patient and detailed explanations ( of both Gandalfs) started to come through to my brain. Thanks. Here's me not panicking 8-) If the video killed the radio star ( as in that song) , can the radio kill the video star? ??? ??? ??? |

I am surprised at the comments that yesterdays thread was so bad. Yes, there was some back and forth arguing but if you didn't scroll through everything there was some real discussion about emotions that I hate to see downplayed. -Talking about learning to accept what is different as a process not to be ashamed of was very deep and heartfelt and I think something that is an experience of all Adam lovers. -Apparently not getting responses to posts is an issue many feel and it was nice to hear members reassure each other. I am going to try to make sure I let people here an in RL know they are valued. -How woman see themselves objectified or not. -And I think it was important acknowledging this board's culture and how some don't feel included or understood. I appreciate the international peeps being brave enough to share how they don't always feel able to crack the boundaries of culture and language here regardless of how well I feel they fit in. There wasn't much response to this but I am sure it is not because it wasn't noticed and understood. (full-circle post?) Adam sure is a conversation starter! Thanks for the fun, yesterday and every day! I probably didn't thank you for your insightful post yesterday. Thank you for that and this. |

Never know what can happen w/ NCOE. Even BTIKM. I was at a concert in DECEMBER and Demi Lavoto was one of the performers. One of her songs came out around then, maybe end of November/early December....anyway. (not a fan, don't know the name of it, sorry) I have been hearing it ALOT lately.....AND I MEAN ALOT! That was almost 6 months ago? Rarely heard it here and there in between that time and now. So maybe w/ him getting out there w/ concerts and appearences we'll hear more of him on the radio on a regular basis, at least hopefully here anyway. Wish I could listen to Q102 all day instead of B104 to be honest, lol! I did get a little sad  the other day when a few people I know, heard NCOE on the radio and most of them liked it, most didn't know it was him, but when some found out it was Adam behind the song, they said "Oh!" Meaning, now they didn't like it because of the name behind it.  I'm like if a song is good, a song is good. How is the song suddenly not good because of who sings it. Listen to the music. THAT is what it's about. They didn't seem to understand why I rolled my eyes and just walked away after saying that.  *** Ah well Demi Lavato's song is on again! Give Your Heart A Break is the name of it.....So the video just premiered April 2. That's a bit of a gap from rlease date of song to release of video. Hmmmmmmm could be why people are requesting it like crazy, lol. |

I just got around to adding the new Las Vegas soundcheck video to my playlists. Then, I had to stop and listen to some of the old soundchecks. Those are so much fun.
