Mys*&@^#r, you are Gandalf of the radio waves! You and Q3. Who would be Gandalf the Grey and who Gandalf the White, I wonder, out of the two of you? Joking aside, I just wanted to say I really appreciate the radio info. I thought it surpassed my mental abilities, but reading here about it, your patient and detailed explanations ( of both Gandalfs) started to come through to my brain. Thanks. iluvfun42, I think it's coincidence. What is kale?? Any finns here know if they sell that in Finland? ??? eta: wikipedia says it's lehtikaali. Guess I don't know much about vegetables. Since you asked.. Kale is a leafy green vegetable and is one of the healthiest. It's in the same family of vegetables as cabbage, collards and brussels sprouts, and grow in several different varieties. Kale's nutrient richness stands out in three particular areas: (1) antioxidant nutrients, (2) anti-inflammatory nutrients, and (3) anti-cancer nutrients in the form of glucosinolates. It has the highest ANDI score of 1000. whfoods.org/genpage.php?dbid=38&tname=foodspice#healthbenefitsANDI = The ANDI score, based on Dr. Fuhrman’s Nutrient Density Scoring System analyzes many nutrients in a food product. blog.fooducate.com/2010/01/28/whole-foods-market-adopts-andi-nutrition-rating-system/Calcium, Carotenoids: Beta Carotene, Alpha Carotene, Lutein & Zeaxanthin, Lycopene, Fiber, Folate, Glucosinolates, Iron, Magnesium, Niacin, Selenium, Vitamin B1 (Thiamin) Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Zinc, plus ORAC score X 2 (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity is a method of measuring the antioxidant or radical scavenging capacity of foods). ETA My fave is dino kale.. yum!

Hugely important question, hope someone can answer. Apologies in advance that I have no links.
Apparently Brian Mansfield posted official soundscan numbers of fye sales (I'm assuming the album) of about 838k or so. But a few months ago didn't RCA put out a press release about something or another which stated that Fye had sold close to 2M worldwide? So... That means that adam's sales outside the us are at least equal to, and likely more than, his sales in the us. Wow!!
Can Someone confirm or refute this, please? Gotta run!

Thanks so much for the reminder. I was just peeking in here for a moment and saw this. I texted Jayn, the DJ on right now at Alice, and asked for NCOE and another song (fun.'s We Are Young) She just texted back: "Two of my favorites! I'll do 'em as soon as I can! thanks for listening. Jayn" I've got to run again, but hopefully she'll play it Great! Hope she plays it soon!

I also tweeted this to my followers and called. The DJ (I think it's Jayne) said sure. Really worried that the spins are already being reduced. They were one of the top spinners of BTIKM.

I know! :-/ And they were the first to add both BTIKM and NCOE! I think the key is to be consistent and request at least once per day. I do the mediabase, then try to call in since I don't text also since they won't be able to tell that it's coming from the same person. I wonder how they determine how often to spin or what times? Anyone know?

I don't see how a station could seriously be reducing spins this soon unless they are getting really poor feedback---which I just can't see would be the case. Maybe they just are having an "off day" I bet it all straightens back out tomorrow.

David Foster is on Dr Phil today. He's talking to someone who wants to break into the music business. He asked the kid what he thought was the MOST important part of being successful in the music business. The kid says, "songwriting". Foster says NO, it's networking and comments that B. Spears has never written a song. He further commented about collaborations, etc. which happen because of the strong networking a musician has put in place. One thing for certain, Adam has nailed the singing and networking piece. YAY!
