Hi! I decided to revise my opinion. Yesterday I probably acted hastily and stupidly. Later in the evening I sat down to my notebook, read your PMs and cried and cried. I have to say that the comment about nail polish really made me upset and it was partially because I'm really trying to change for better but from time to time, I just make fun of the issues which are serious , like for example homosexuality, regardless of the fact it could hurt anybody. I don't do it intentionally, maybe it's also the consequence of my cultural backround... Yesterday I was nervous like a mofo, waiting for the result of my decisive exam. Fortunately I passed and everything is okay now. I didn't want to behave like a total hellcat. Thank you all who stood up for me, it really moved me to tears. That comment made me upset also because I love Adam, and only the idea that some of my deeds/statements could offend him or even harm him makes me mad. I just wanna tell you I apologize for my yesterday's outburst of emotions . And please, pardon me, if I sometimes babble a bullsh*t. I will do my best to be more precise in my statements. Maybe this post should posted to Members thread, I just feel like my post is nothing in comparison with Tinafea's loss. Hi, ame - happy day! Glad your exam went so well.

David Foster is on Dr Phil today. He's talking to someone who wants to break into the music business. He asked the kid what he thought was the MOST important part of being successful in the music business. The kid says, "songwriting". Foster says NO, it's networking and comments that B. Spears has never written a song. He further commented about collaborations, etc. which happen because of the strong networking a musician has put in place. One thing for certain, Adam has nailed the singing and networking piece. YAY! That is so interesting. And here there are all these people saying Adam is not a real artist because they think he doesn't write and that he doesn't play an instrument. Thanks for sharing.

Well, ya gotta admit they have a point. Just think what this guy could have achieved if only he could have gotten rid of that awful Count Basie and learned to plunk his own gee-tar.

Hugely important question, hope someone can answer. Apologies in advance that I have no links. Apparently Brian Mansfield posted official soundscan numbers of fye sales (I'm assuming the album) of about 838k or so. But a few months ago didn't RCA put out a press release about something or another which stated that Fye had sold close to 2M worldwide? So... That means that adam's sales outside the us are at least equal to, and likely more than, his sales in the us. Wow!! Can Someone confirm or refute this, please? Gotta run! I think RCA is "rounding up!" If the sales are 1,501,000, they are saying close to 2 million! Edited to remove something already posted by fast Jazzrocks!

Don't panic, they spun it almost too much right off the bat and are probably backing off a little but will pick up again closer to album drop. This is not unusual at all.
